I'm trying to figure out how to rotate images, but I just can't get it. Anyways, this is what I've been up to in FH4 lately. I get a kick simply driving the cars around and looking for new compositions. I had some fun taking photos of the Subaru a new style for me.
I did some referencing from a photograph I took. I think the car models are okay, so I used them, as well as the road+mountain as a platform for my illustration. It's very WIP.
I was inspired by when I saw a Lancia Delta Integrale HF in Japan. It passed me by and left an impression.
This is also very WIP. They are nothing alike in terms of style, but they each have their own flair. I'm working full time on this one and the top one will be just for concept/logging my work process.
This is a digitally drawn/vectored image that I made of a Singer Porsche 911. This is referenced from real life. It was filled in with color, but I thought it looked better line drawing. I really liked the way that this turned out.
"Ever since I was a young lad watching various American action movies, I really grew to like those Crown Victorias used by the police over there. I kinda wanted to own one, but they weren't available over here. I thought it was impossible, until a buddy of mine that runs an Imported Car Dealer recieved two of them in his recent import batch. One of them caught my attention right away; a beautiful slicktop CHP Crown Victoria unit, with 114,000 miles on it and 1,300 idle hours.
A few days ago, I took ownership of said slicktop California Highway Patrol Crown Victoria, which happened to be used in the Placerville District. My dream of owning an American police car in Europe had come true at last. Now that she's registered with proper documentation, it's time to take her out on the other side of the pond."
"I'm sure the local rangers wouldn't mind me parking here for a photo"
"Chillin' out front of my mate's house"
"That mountain always looked odd"
"Even the chickens over here are scared of the Crown Vic"
"Back on the highway, just like old times...err, sort of"
"Another location checked off the bucket list, and doing it in style"
I love this thing so much, it's instant GT Legends nostalgia. It's just annoying that barely a day or two after I get it the game switches to Winter and now it's useless. No matter, I'll just much about with my Polaris.
