I'm not going to lie, the weird omissions we've seen from these lists so far has me very scared about Porsche. At this point I doubt we're going to see the 964 911 at launch (fingers crossed), but I'm also afraid we're going to lose the 928 again as well as the 968. We already know that both 991 GT3s are coming back, so it's going to make whatever they exclude sting pretty badly.
I'd expect to lose some of the 356s, like the GMund and Emory, before we lost the 964, 928 or 968.

Not so happy with the list so far. All old models of cars. No new Huracan of new F Type etc..... All horizon 4 cars.

Me not like....

You haven't been paying attention. There are several new cars despite most of the cars being in FH4, but it's always been like that when a new game comes out, cars get cut, most make it to the new game and there are a few new additions.

We don't know about Lamborghini enough to determine if a new Huracan is in or not.

I do pay attention and based on what we now known the car list Will be a big dissepointment.

Car pass here we come....

No cars lost, only the new one gained. So, maybe, there's hope some manufacturers will actually have no cars cut.

Still, again, only the one new Land Rover we had seen has been added. The theory seems to stand. This means only the new GR Supra for Toyota and those 3 new cars for Porsche.

What we can do now is speculate which (if any) cars will be dropped from Toyota and Porsche.

EDIT: And that's 3 more cars to add to my in-game garage...

That's a nice well-rounded list of Land Rovers frankly. I'm very happy the MkI Range Rover and RR Velar have made it over. Now just to get both the 2014 and especially the 2012 Range Rover Supercharged back!

Also, I'm excited to hear how these V8 Land Rovers and Jags sound with the new engine sound system.

I agree with this theory, and would also suggest that Toyota and Porsche might be the last manufacturers we get a car list for before the next Let's Go! episode.

If we do get any other manufacturer listed before then, it's going to be one where there are no new additions, just returnees (and omissions).

My hypothesis is that we are now going to see new additions during each Let's Go instalment up to release (which would be ?4 instalments). It depends on how many additions are included at launch, but there could easily be another 4x3=12 or 4x4=16 left to be shown.

EDIT - i originally forgot to divide 8 weeks by two as Let's Go is every fortnight d'oh!!!

This is partly based on there being minimal car additions in FH4 in 2021, so there must reasonably be at least 30 cars that have been completed this year but not added to FH4 and therefore available for FH5 as new additions. And we've only seen a few of those so far.

Of course, some of those might be held back for DLC car packs post release, or Forzathons.

And, leading on from that, any new vehicle shown will then result in that manufacturer being listed via tweet in the following 2 weeks prior to the next Let's Go episode. And so on.

The new Porsches have official names and year models now. The Taycan Turbo S is a 2020 model, and the other two Porsches are:

2018 Porsche Macan Rally Raid
1989 Porsche #65 Rothsport Racing 911 "Desert Flyer"

And the Taycan Turbo still isn't a turbo... whatever they want to call it

Is that 2016 911 GT2 RS new to the series or is that supposed to be the 2018 version that was in FH4?

I think we will get Toyota tomorrow and then the whole car list. It looks like we don’t get any new cars that we haven’t seen yet.

Seems like it. But also difficult to show off every new car in the streams. We may get more reveals later.

Doubt it. They still have the whole of September and October for marketing. They'll reveal the full list gradually.

They'll likely reveal Toyota tomorrow, possibly accompanied by Lexus (which is luxury Toyota, essentially). That will be followed by a weekend break or, if they don't take a break, they'll reveal brands that (most likely) won't have any new cars: my bets are Chevrolet, Mitsubishi and Koenigsegg. After that, we'll get the next 'Let's Go!' episode and we'll be shown more new cars that will be coming to the game, from brands that weren't talked about yet. Then they'll reveal the full list for each of those brands until the next 'Let's Go!', and the process repeats until the list is completed.

Quite disappointed about the many omissions.

I got the feeling that a lot New popular cars will be part off the carpass or perhaps obtainable through special events.
From Porsche I would at least have expected the 992 GT3 or 992 Turbo S to be added to the standard list.

Pissed that the 928 is gone again. Easily one of my favourite Porsches. Hopefully the Singers like its own brand. Same for the GW and the Emory

A small detail that has me curious: the '73 A110 is listed as an Alpine, where it was under Renault for FH4. I wonder if the new-gen A110 meant some sort of new retroactive branding decision.

Deberti is a separate brand now. Hot Wheels got a new car as well, so they are coming back, although not with as many cars as FH4.

Also looks like we still have to deal with Chevrolet Super Sport as opposed to SS, despite things like the Mercedes being listed as SSK....
