I decided to buy it on PS5 Pro even if I have it on XBSX. Reason being... comfort of mind. I know it can sound weird but I also got the Premium Edition.

At least now I won't have to heat up my own whole bedroom when I play unlike on my XBSX. Not only that but I feel far more comfortable on a Dualshock 5.

My task for the weekend is set - turn off crossplay and try to win an Eliminator before the hoards arrive next week.
I would assume the casuals swarming in next week will actually make it easier.

Awesome discovery: Your XBL account's Creative Hub content remains intact on PS5/PS5 Pro!!

My designs and photos like this one are safe!! 👍

Quite happy with it so far had to increase the steering sensitivity a bit, switched off the voices and constant points scoring notifications. Think this is going to be a belter, shame there is no motorfest style boosting about though.

Played for a couple of hours, and it’s basically a 1:1 port of the Xbox version, even the annoying limitations. When using a steering wheel, you can’t use any extra buttons that the standard controller doesn't have. Everything’s mapped to basic controller inputs or axes. For example, the accelerator and brake pedals are mapped to R2 & L2, which makes the dedicated R2 and L2 buttons on the wheel completely useless. The speedometer & rev LEDs don’t work either. These are Xbox OS limitations, and while the PC version doesn’t have the same limitations, they imposed them on the PS5 version anyway.

I bet you're still hitting the boost button on every straight

I forgot just how eagerly the game throws new cars at you. 50 in 4 hours is a bit of a change from the GT grind, and that doesn’t even include the car pass and gift vehicles. Also the map is already a bit overwhelming. So much to do, and add in the FOMO playlists. I fear all my other games are going to get neglected.

As expected the game is much better playing natively rather than my previous Gamepass streaming experience. Quality mode looks very nice but slow after playing GT7 on the 120fps mode. Performance is an acceptable compromise. Handling is good on the pad now I switched the steering setting to simulation.

Hello friends,

I have also done my first runs in FH 5 and I have to admit that I am very enthusiastic about the game.
There is so much to do. The game looks great on the PS 5. I played with the steering wheel, but it's very tiring. It will probably be a controller game.
Maybe I'll see you on the track.
Have fun and enjoy the ride

I have posted about this issue on the Forza support forum, I hope they can see it & eventually address it: https://forums.forza.net/t/773602

I had the chance to play around 1 hour last night:

1.- I won over 10 cars, some of them in the roulette, I though people were joking about the game giving you cars for no reason🤣
2.- Physics are better than I was expecting (without reaching a sim.level of detail) but I am having problems with drifting😅😅
3.- Anyone knows how I can increase the cars sounds and decrease the volume of radio?? I can barely hear the car engine and exhaust
4.-Graphics are great, I have had some glitches with vegetation sttutering but nothing really annoying,.PD has spoiled me on the level of detail of cars and specially on cockpit materials and reflections but FH5 looks pretty decent, however, cars still an step behind than on GT7
5.- As a Mexican I can say that Playground games did a great jpb recreating the looks and the feeling of driving on mexican roads😃
