Forza Monthly Coming as Part of Five-Day Streaming Schedule for E3 2019

You don't need to hate fun. All it takes is a brother and cousin well into their 40'ies who occasionally refer to their LEGO hobby as a guilty pleasure when their respective kids couldn't care less about it.
To be honest, you should have just stopped here:

Don't take it so serious. :)

Everyone should.
It's likely happening because of your extension, withdrawal, and than re-extension of your point. At first it seemed serious, then you made it seem like a joke and to not take it serious, and then with that it makes it seem like it really wasn't a joke at all.

Even to add on top of that, basically what @ShakesMcQueen pointed out as well. You're playing video games talking about a toy that is likely more, or just as mentally stimulating as these very games you're playing. There's irony in there somewhere.

And I somehow imagined this self-irony would fuel the joke rather than make it fall apart. But that's the internet for you, sarcasm and jokes don't always translate well in writing.

The only worrying part I can see without joking is that more and more kids don't care about toys these days. They are lost in their tablets and consoles while conventional toy stores struggle to survive. Maybe this is also why a LEGO expansion potentially is going to happen - to help bridging the gap between digital children playing AAA games and their nostalgic parents wishing their kids spent more time off the screen.

It's likely not that, but more so how you portray yourself over the internet. It's just not the norm for you(from what I notice at least), so it makes sense that people are going to see something fall in line with how you usually are about serious subjects. Not so much the irony of the subject, but the way you usually post against something. Then the following interactions didn't really help portray it as a joke.

And that's exactly what happened last time. Said person said something stupid, kept on jumping up and down that they were being taken out of context, and kept doubling and tripling down until a whopper of a quote came out.

Frankly, it was a stupid joke that shouldn't have been said. The internet is fine with sarcasm and jokes - it needs to be told well, and there needs to at least be some semblance of sarcasm coming out of it. Something which didn't come out of this. There's a reason why the /s quantifier exists to parse sarcasm on the internet.

All this thread is missing now, is Techlet coming in to complain about something.

I'm surprised he hasn't come around to make some stupid statement about the potential for a LEGO expansion. (Though we probably opened pandora's box)

Not a Lego or Horizon fan, but very excited to see some news on next gen consoles.
What is the best outlet or place to watch E3 coverage?

It's not like I have a posting history of random personal insults. I probably wouldn't have survived past 6000 posts if that was the case.

We cant do a Imsa expansion pack for fm7 but we will release a crappy lego expansion for you forza horizon fans.

Dont forget to not stub your toe on a bunch of legos.

That's not what I was meaning. Just that it came off more serious rather than a joke, most likely because you seem mostly serious a lot of the time. That and like I mentioned, that the following interactions just didn't make it seem any more like a joke.

Either way we're probably dragging this on too long, to be honest. You say it's a joke, so it's a joke, whether it was misinterpreted or not.

You do realize that we're dealing with two different developers and series, right?

www.gtplanet.net.

:P

In all seriousness, we will continue to report on next-gen consoles, because that really does matter to us. So expect an article (or articles) on any neXt-Box news.

I don't remember there ever being an announcement for an IMSA expansion. There was a partnership, and that can conceivably cover historic content — of which FM7 features plenty, possibly more than any other title.

I'll borrow that time machine when you're done with it, too. 👍

I'm not sure how "it was a joke" leaves any doubt it was, but fair enough if you see it differently. I'm not looking for an explanation.

Let's move on.

Time difference is cruel.
I am forced to watch streaming at 3:00 am on the 11th, 1 am on the 12th, and midnight on the 13th.
They will not reveal what to introduce by streaming until that moment, and I will spend a sleepless night:ill:

If we see anything FM8 related it'll probably be an ForzaTech Trailer in the same vein as the halo slipstream engine trailer last year.
Mind you, I'm not really hoping for any FM8 at E3. I mostly want to be teased on hope it will look on the next console, for example: Showcasing the Koenigsegg Jesko driving on a particular course. Then again, we don't know. I'm just being optimistic. ;)

Also, you're not alone @-Fred-. I have work at 4pm and finish at 6, which sucks...
