It may just be me, but can someone take the escort cosworth for a spin and tell me if the interior mirror in cockpit view is reflecting the wrong bloody way. Doin my nut in...

Turns out they did change the grip level down.....
Are they really that dumb or are they like hmmm we got our money screw them...
http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/160/ShowForum.aspx
reqd there, alot of people complaining about less grip.
Dont have the game yet but im getting pissed about it :(

You have got to be kidding me. What the hell are they doing? Only a week after the game is out and they are already screwing over everyone again.

I really hope they didn't do that, don't have the game yet myself(holland gets it tommorow) but if this is treu im selling my lce.
People are complaining that fm4 drag slicks arnt giving enough grip, and they reduce it extra.... really nice guys there at turn 10, fm3 all over again....👎
To answer your question, the patch last Thursday the 13th did indeed reduce the traction at the drag strip when using drag slicks. Now my wheelie cars no longer do wheelies. My Cuda would wheelie from a dead stop. Not anymore. Oh well the rest of the game is fun but that was a huge disappointment.
The leaderboards are going to be reset too because of it. I also think they are doing server maintenance because the online servers have been very unstable since everyone else got the game on Friday. Servers worked perfect until Friday night. When the servers are down you cant get to rivals mode, the storefront, online, leaderboards, AH, or anything else. You are forced to race campaign or mess around in Autovista at that point since 90% of the game runs online.

So, quick question. Who here is using the plastic MS FFB Wheel?

This game has issues. I don't see how it can be the wheel, because Forza 3 wasn't like F1 and 2. Specifically, my cars of all types want to keep turning through turns, and I have to jerk the wheel or stab the brakes to make them stop, just like in Forza 1 and 2. If that wasn't bad enough, the stupid engine ROAR is drowning out what little tire whisper there is. And then the tires don't make any real sound until they're in danger of losing traction, upon which they begin squealing bloody murder. I'm beginning to loathe every car above C Class which doesn't have racing tires and suspension, and all wheel drive. Oh, and the bots must die.

If I need to order a fraking Fanatec wheel to enjoy this game, I'm going to poop in Bill Gates' livingroom.

Guess its just you because as Scaff showed in his video, which you seemingly ignored, it doesn't happen to him. Maybe you're just not very good at racing games?

I haven't had any of those issues, and I am temporarily using my old MS Wheel as well.

Maybe this is a Forza issue, because I seem to have no problem with rFactor, GTR or Live For Speed, which last I checked had better physics than Forza4.

I guess rather than be snotty about it, I'll keep plugging away and see if I can grok this weird beast... and no, I didn't edit out anything snotty. Fear not, Forza faithful. ;)

I wish Forza 4 had F1 cars sooooo bad.

Codemasters F1 2011.

Wouldn't you rather buy a racing game for it's primary focus than a game that tries to be all? There are a number of games out there that excel at the various racing disciplines (Formula, Stock car, Off-road, Rally, Tourng/Sports, GT, etc.. Forza 4 does an excellent job based on it's target.

With a resume like that D, I'm suprised you're struggling with this little arcade racer.

Don't want to point out the obvious but trolling comes to mind...

And judging by your last 5 posts that I saw in the Forza section of the board, do us all a favor and cut back a little...

Doesn't look like it's been covered yet, but expect the Hyundai Veloster, Aston Martin Virage '12, Ford Gran Torino '76 & Focus ST '12 to be coming soon. There's also hope for Sportscar & GT (think GT4-2 - esque) racers to be coming as well.

Where did you hear that Mclaren?

It's according to BADNED's list. Now, I can't account for the Fords & the Aston as absolute confirmation, but there is a picture of the Veloster advertising it with a tagline along the lines of, "Built around Forza Motorsport 4".

Nice one. Looking forward to seeing what DLC will bring. I went for the season pass so I'm hoping most of the packs have something worthwhile.

I'm sorry it took me so long to reply.

I'm not sure what you mean by game tries to be all. I just mean I wish Forza 4 had F1 cars because of how good Forza 4 graphics are and how good the engines sound and all the different tracks.

I have F1 2011 and 2010. I'm not that impressed compared to Forza 4. I like them too. I just think the stuff in Forza are great and I think it'd rock to have F1 cars.

...

I wasn't talking about Forza. My example was F1 2011 only does F1 and will do it better than games that try to include a number of racing disciplines.
I think F1 2011 looks great. Do you have it on Xbox?

OK now I get it lol. Several racing styles.

I have F1 2011 for ps3 because I have the DFGT.

I'd love to see how an F1 car would do going round Maple Valley. I've been playing ToCA Race Driver 3 lately and had great fun tearing 80s Williams F1 cars through Zandvoort. Even if that was different from Forza (being a multi-discipline racing game), surely just one or two F1 cars in Forza would be good?

Anyone notice online race bug where you spectate and hit up on dpad to bring up the stats and it says hit down to close it? It doesn't close. I tried last night.

Is it correct that fanatec support has still not been fixed and does simulation steering still have driving aids? (Tried to search but there is not really much info)

You'll probably get an answer sooner if you ask this over on Forza Planet.
