Turns out they did change the grip level down.....
Are they really that dumb or are they like hmmm we got our money screw them...

reqd there, alot of people complaining about less grip.
Dont have the game yet but im getting pissed about it
To answer your question, the patch last Thursday the 13th did indeed reduce the traction at the drag strip when using drag slicks. Now my wheelie cars no longer do wheelies. My Cuda would wheelie from a dead stop. Not anymore. Oh well the rest of the game is fun but that was a huge disappointment.I really hope they didn't do that, don't have the game yet myself(holland gets it tommorow) but if this is treu im selling my lce.
People are complaining that fm4 drag slicks arnt giving enough grip, and they reduce it extra.... really nice guys there at turn 10, fm3 all over again....👎
So, quick question. Who here is using the plastic MS FFB Wheel?
This game has issues. I don't see how it can be the wheel, because Forza 3 wasn't like F1 and 2. Specifically, my cars of all types want to keep turning through turns, and I have to jerk the wheel or stab the brakes to make them stop, just like in Forza 1 and 2. If that wasn't bad enough, the stupid engine ROAR is drowning out what little tire whisper there is. And then the tires don't make any real sound until they're in danger of losing traction, upon which they begin squealing bloody murder. I'm beginning to loathe every car above C Class which doesn't have racing tires and suspension, and all wheel drive. Oh, and the bots must die.
If I need to order a fraking Fanatec wheel to enjoy this game, I'm going to poop in Bill Gates' livingroom.

Maybe this is a Forza issue, because I seem to have no problem with rFactor, GTR or Live For Speed, which last I checked had better physics than Forza4.Guess its just you because as Scaff showed in his video, which you seemingly ignored, it doesn't happen to him. Maybe you're just not very good at racing games?
I wish Forza 4 had F1 cars sooooo bad.

I guess rather than be snotty about it, I'll keep plugging away and see if I can grok this weird beast... and no, I didn't edit out anything snotty. Fear not, Forza faithful.

Doesn't look like it's been covered yet, but expect the Hyundai Veloster, Aston Martin Virage '12, Ford Gran Torino '76 & Focus ST '12 to be coming soon. There's also hope for Sportscar & GT (think GT4-2 - esque) racers to be coming as well.
It's according to BADNED's list. Now, I can't account for the Fords & the Aston as absolute confirmation, but there is a picture of the Veloster advertising it with a tagline along the lines of, "Built around Forza Motorsport 4".Where did you hear that Mclaren?

I just turned the tyre sound up in the Audio SFX menu and can hear them just fine.If that wasn't bad enough, the stupid engine ROAR is drowning out what little tire whisper there is.
FuzzyFassbenderCodemasters F1 2011.
Wouldn't you rather buy a racing game for it's primary focus than a game that tries to be all? There are a number of games out there that excel at the various racing disciplines (Formula, Stock car, Off-road, Rally, Tourng/Sports, GT, etc.. Forza 4 does an excellent job based on it's target.

buggs1aI'm sorry it took me so long to reply.
I'm not sure what you mean by game tries to be all.
...
FuzzyFassbenderI wasn't talking about Forza. My example was F1 2011 only does F1 and will do it better than games that try to include a number of racing disciplines.
I think F1 2011 looks great. Do you have it on Xbox?
Not sure if Maple Valley would be good for an F1 car..unless you are fine with not getting any top speed out of the car.
RaitzigerIs it correct that fanatec support has still not been fixed and does simulation steering still have driving aids? (Tried to search but there is not really much info)
