WARNING & NOTICE OF INTENT
DO NOT WHINGE / ARGUE ABOUT GT IN THIS THREAD

I will gladly report any individual that wants to de-reail yet another FM thread with the usual nonsense. I ask the MODS to take action as many of us are sick to the teeth of infighting regards GT/FM.

Discuss FM4 its that simple...

Its okay he posted like 3 seconds after the initial post. :)

So what are you guys most excited about?

Im impressed with the graphics and upto 16 cars with head tracking.
Fun game modes in the TopGear additions could be excellent.
The AutoVista on a big projection screen is likely to be awesome.

I don't know Mr. Latte...there is so much great news here, I don't know where to start. I can't believe they added so many features in 2 years. It's mind boggling.

Sounds like Top Gear is going to be done right!! :)

Just seen the gameplay vids from E3, looks great! Step up from Forza 2

Most excited about a serious wheel presence on 360.

I trust T10 to do a good with the Top Gear license. The new physics and tyre stuff are really interesting.

Ive gotta be honest, I promised myself I wouldnt get excited for fm4 after what a let down gt5 was...but theres nothing im not excited about. The added wheel presence speaks volumes for the future of racing in fm4, the physics rework and connection with pirelli can only mean much more accuracy on what T10 was already working on Re: tyre load modelling ect. Kinect head tracking....the new lighting engine...EVERYTHING, it seems T10 have been extrmely busy over the last 2 years

I can admit this looks like it's going to be an epic game... I just can't justify myself buying an Xbox and paying for Live for just one game..

Mac K, I know how u feel, I was in the same boat when fm3 was coming out, but i bit the bullet and did it. Now I buy everything on xbox because the online is better and multiplats tend to be better on xbox. My ps3 is nothing more than an overglorified 3d blu ray player. :(

Very true Mac.
If you already owned an xbox its a no brainer.

But it's a lot of money to fork out if not. Especially if you want a wheel too.

Unlucky mate.

I couldn't justify it [buying a console] just to play GT5, but I still have the nagging wish I had one.

Atleast you have some time to think about what you have done and mature in your ways :P

I was very mature when I discussed my displeasure in the lack of system link.

A certain immature former T10 employee couldn't handle the fact that many people rightfully did not like many of the changes in FM3.

*checks*

Yup, still banned from the forums for over 100 years because I pointed out an issue in FM3 in a non flaming manner.

Based on your posts, here, I can see why they banned you.

Some nice info here. I'm still quite curious to see how the Stig is impllemented.

I did the same on different subjects. My accounts is still available and I haven't been logged into FM.net for half a year now. Seems to be an issue on your part, if you're asking me.

Then again, customers are never the source of a problem. If there's one thing I've learned from dealing with my company's customers, it's that it's always someone else's fault and they're generally the nicest, smartest and overall bestest people in the world

Yeah, they should switch to some working forums. I'm getting quite a few errors with those boards as well.

But I guess they'll update those to match the new FM4 layout anyways.

I have never played FM3 with a wheel, but people have stated that the FFB in FM3 is weak. Has there been any comments about FFB improvements on wheels for FM4? I searched but came up empty...

The Forza website makes me want to vomit. Gran-turismo.com is lightyears ahead of it in every way, and even that's not up to my standards. That's what you get from ASP developers, though.

Let me point you to the very first post in this thread about not turning it into another GT5 vs Forza flame war. :dunce:

If you wanna puke, go puke in the corner. Preferably the corner of a completely different thread. Have a nice day...

Thanks for the suggestion. How about I compare it to iracing.com? Or maybe every single other web site on the internet? Because forzamotorsport.net looks like crap, works like crap, and basically is crap. The forums are broken. Forza 2 support is present but broken. "My Forza" is often broken. Image uploads from the game are overly compressed. The video download process is tedious. Page elements like gamercards and images are missing all over the place. The navigation menu changes from page to page. Broken links. Errors. It's basically a thorough example of what not to do.

Sorry to be negative, but it's the laziest attempt at a web site I've ever seen in my life, and by contrast, GT's is unusually outstanding for a web site in any industry.

I don't care if the tweenagers think that association is grounds for a flame war, that's not my problem, and it would have been my last post on the matter if not for your helpful suggestion. :)

Forzamotorsport.net isn't great, but works just fine for me. It's too bad that the forums are complete garbage.

Meh, I'm not impressed by GT's either.

Forums there still suck though :(

Are they still super slow like they used to be?(haven't been there in some time)

Meh, I'm not impressed by GT's either.

Neither am I, seems about as cold and sterile as the game itself. Can't even comment on their "forum", no clue why Sony hasn't given them a proper one like they have with their other franchises.
