That's like saying its 2015 where is Forza 7 because both hasn't been announced!

Or even better it's like saying Turn 10 have released two excellent racing games for xbox1 complete with cockpits with a 3rd coming in two months and PD have released a whopping great big zero for the ps4. I 'm lucky to have both consoles but I can imagine how many ps4 only owners are frustrated at having to wait ages for one game.

You could even toggle them off so you don't have to see them. Plus w/ Forza Rewards, you get so much money anyway, microtransactions become obsolete at that point
About rewards: Do you need XBL Gold to accept them? I remember in FH 1 I couldn't get the credits I was rewarded for my paints without Gold. In fact, to this day, I still got 4,000 credits to accept and I can't get them.

no. I don't have gold.

The way T10 has handled the micro transaction thing since they offered the half price weekend on 5 and gave us the option to toggle them off makes me think T10 don't want them and do what they can to negate them in the face of the marketing suits.

If I was making a game and someone like Microsoft was forcing me to add a micro transaction, I would price it at £1000 and call it "DO NOT buy this"

Me too but if they bought the console without waiting for the game to be announced, knowing that GT5 was released four years after console launch, then I'm afraid they bear some of the responsibility. What's that saying about people who do the same thing twice and expect a different result?

An unannounced game is like a constantly moving target against which no competitor can ever measure up.

Good to see the 850R, Mk 3 GTI, Elise 111S and the M635CSI return as well as the two 70's F1 cars that people thought would only be in FM5. Also Mclaren M8B :embarrassed:

Surely this list is fast approaching 500?
After that announcement, were probably at about 240-250ish out of 450+, so still plenty to go! After the Car Pass, it will almost certainly be well over 500 cars and we will be back to Forza 4 levels of variety and depth in the car list. Plus, the game comes out in like less than 2 months now, and they still have 5 tracks, 200+ cars plus features and content still to announce. Can't wait :D

All cars from fm5 and fh2 totals well over 400 as it is, and I'm losing track of all the new cars. Those remaining 200 spaces do not cover all these cars.

Not quite. If you remove all of the livery cars from FM5 - you're left with about 308ish cars and the Horizon 2 exclusives (Even with the extreme-offroad vehicles) totals about 80+ish, so with FM5 + FH2 its actually under 400 (just).

Plus, not all the cars from FH2 will make the cross-over. I know the Bowler is in, but that doesn't confirm that the Rally Fighter, or the Ford Ranger Raid or any of these off-road trucks make the cut to FM6. Horizon 1 had its own little collection of exclusive vehicles and I assume the same for Horizon 2 - its an incentive to actually get the game.

I also don't think every car from Forza 5 will return - T10 have never, ever put every single car from a previous version into the next one (I can think of the Chrysler ME-Four Twelve we lost from FM1, the Veliside Supra from FM2, the 500 we lost from FM4 ;) etc) and I don't think they'll change that now. So ultimately, we are bound to lose some cars from FM5 and FH2, just how many cars we might lose is unclear at this stage. Also how many new to the franchise cars we gain in place of those lost is also unclear, but looks promising at this stage, with STCC, BTCC, Can-Am, Classic Open Wheel cars etc.

Horizon 1 only had exclusive cars because of the jump to next gen. Had fm5 have been on 360, you would have seen all of those cars return.

Very few cars were lost between previous gen Forzas, and those that were lost were almost always similar tuner cars or certain liveries on race cars.

True, but that doesn't mean we won't see Horizon 2 exclusive cars. We may not either, my point being that nobody really knows and there really isn't sufficient evidence to say one or the other. I guess we'll find out as the cars continue to be revealed!

I remember seeing a list of cars lost from FM1 to FM4 (not including Liveries/Tuner Cars) and it was around 20-30 cars (off the top of my head) so yeah i guess in Forza numbers it was relatively small, but the point is - history suggests that not every car from FM5 will be in FM6 and we'll just have to wait and see what we lose/gain :D

Anyway, I really hope we see the Zonda R, Gumpert Apollo, 599XX and the Sesto Elemento from Forza 4. Amazing cars that really deserve to return to the franchise!

The fact that old cars are returning makes me hopeful that they are now going to stop removing cars.

This week's reveals have some stunners:

NICE. That makes three early 3.0L era F1 cars; I hope a period Honda, Ferrari and/or BRM (H16 power!) are in the pipeline as well, even as DLC.
