Saw two driver suits while driving in single-player races last night that I dint normally see. One was a Marshall suit, that I suppose is used in multi-player racing. The other was a "creator" suit that had things like controllers on it. I only wish I had taken screenshots.
Marshal suit is given to all race marshals (community moderators), I had it in Forza Motorsport 7

Creator suit is given to a small handful of content creators, something like fewer than 20

Happy New Year everyone, here is to Year 2 of (hopefully) 10+, also 25th anniversary of the original first Forza Motorsport (2005)

I hope the year feels like the end of last year was for FM, lots of fun updates, new fun cars to drive and awersome tracks with great returns

By the way, when the BMW Update is suposed to be announced next monday?

I think that the V8 Supercar division is the most fair in terms of AI strength of any that I've ran so far. Or I guess a better way of saying it is that it's more like what you have in the lower classes E, D, C, B instead of the AI tweak that has infected S, R, and P.

I can run level 5 comfortably and I've even ran a couple of races at 6 and been very competitive IF I've started towards the front. You can't start in the back half of the field because there is still a cluster wreck of cars in the first couple of turns and the lead AI just runs off. Still can't understand why this far into the game's life and we still cannot choose your starting position in free play.

Is there a way you can have proper qualifying sessions? I'm too much of a donkey to search for it in-game.

Yes Monday update 16, the BMW update should be announced. We may hopefully get a thumbnail tease around Friday.

The track lighting looks better than in visual target mod but the interior lighting and reflections are so much better in the mod. The lack of rough surface reflection or even on some fully reflective material reflections and the complete absence of RTGI in the cockpit makes it look worse than the mod. The interiors in the mod looked soo good thanks to RTGI and full correct RT reflections that it made the materials and shaders look alot better.

Left is the mod and right is patch 15 maxed out with RTGI

May I ask where you got that Visual Target mod? If not, a backup of the Visual Target folder?

Okay,so first of all: the Ute's championship is awful, didnt enjoy to driving boat and putting Eagle rock is a terrible choice....

Second: Why the 2013 Holden supercar V8 is on the Forza Specials Division and not on Forza AUS division ?

The Xbox Commodore has the FM7 horsepower (620) instead of the 650 that both the base game Holden and Ford have, and none of the engine upgrades seem to put it at the right level to the existing Forza AUS "spec" so perhaps that is why.

It also doesn't have the Dunlop branded tires, which is just cosmetic of course.

Interesting that it's not just a re-livery of the base-game Walkinshaw Commodore, but still a very weak addition to the game in my opinion. I get they needed something Australian, but any of the other missing Aussie cars would have been a better addition, like the XR, FGX or XY Falcons, Holden FX sedan, hell even the Sandman.

Agreed. When I saw Eagle Rock as the first race I really scratched my head and couldn't figure out why they would use that track for a Ute, not to mention it was already used in the previous series. Why not Yas Marina, Grand Oak, Mugello or Kyalami? These tracks don't get used nearly enough in single player. And even with the lack of branding and modding that reward Holden supercar should very well be in Forza AUS division. Some sloppy work T10 did with update 15.

They need to take Eagle Rock out of the rotation until they can fix the awful AI. If you want to run it as an oval that's fine but the AI just wants to barrel into those first two turns of the "A" section causing a traffic jam and then they brake check leading onto the oval. I think the next time I see that in a challenge I'm just going to start from P1 and see if that will eliminate some of the chaos.

I was looking forward to the Ute challenge but I was very disappointed in the track choices. First off that stupid Fraggle Rock. They don't run full Road Atlanta just the sprint section. But the topper was Bathurst at night in fog in a thunderstorm. I hated that.

The Xbox rewards Supercar is not in the Forza AUS division with the other Supercars?!?! But the regular Holden Supercar is. When I saw the Xbox car was the reward car I sold the Holden Supercar I bought a few days ago since I didn't think I needed two of them. But now if you can't run the Xbox one with the other Supercars I need to go back and buy the regular one again.

I've noticed the 2013 Holden Supercar V8 has few differences compared to the 2017 one:
Less power but higher downforce compared the 2017 Holden
The engine sound is different.
I didnt go in depth further but they are the most notable differences i could see.

Yeah the Xbox Holden felt like a duplicate,i dont know what turn10 doing for this Holden getting on the same division as the MX5 cup. Really stupid from them.

So...this Holden has the highest car value of the game ????

“Forza Specials” is their dumping ground for cars that they can’t or won’t make a category for. In Forza Motorsport 7 it’s where all the meme cars lived.

In this game it doesn’t make much sense because single car categories already exist, such as Porsche Mission R Spec.

To be honest, they've taken the laziest option in my opinion.

Also, because no one has said it yet,...

This is an Xbox ;)
