Feels like a cheap copout to finally shut up everyone who was moaning about it being MIA since FM4 tbh.
Don't be that guy, please. Most of us probably saw this coming from a mile away but a lot of people really wanted this myself included. Mind you I don't really care about drifting but for track variety purposes and seeing this classic beauty be brought back to life in 2025 form, im all for it. This will lift a lot of peoples spirits for this game when this drops that goes without saying though hopefully there's no weird glitches or bugs that get introduced and T10 also drops some great car/event content alongside it.

To the content it could be a number of cars coming with this one, I have a feeling this may be the one where we could finally surpass the usual 10-12 cars per update and maybe get upwards of 15-20. Right off the bat a few highly requested JDM's would fit, VW IDR for high climbing, along with a Mazda Furai which would be interesting considering there's none left in the world. But it would be a great call back to FM4 and a Fujimi kaido tie in for this game. Why not. I could also see a few race cars make their way in maybe we finally get more SuperGT cars from that era like the NSX, GTR, Supra.? As outliers I would hope we get the SLR McLaren back finally after a decade or so, the MC20 finally and Bugatti Bolide too, they would fit this theme to a degree.

I tried to figure out where on the track this screenshot was taken:

It looks like it's from the newer and wider downhill section, that was introduced in FM3. Could it perhaps be the corner at 8:07 in this Youtube video? 🤔

So far. With the delay of a new track announced coming only for May, makes sense, that the track will come in Forzaversary Update will be Fujimi Kaido. Tracks like Fujimi, have a massive development to be optimized for an actual console, like 4 or 5 months. I see the future of the game shine with this update and the upcoming features of the new Creative Hub and returns of Career Tours. With May Update coming out, I expect Monza to be a track coming with the Update of July Month, with the Maserati MC20, Ferrari 499 P Modificata, Ferrari 296 GT3 and more italian cars.

Very happy about this. Great news!

My only concern (sorry, but it needs to be said) is that it will get used a lot in the May Featured Tour and then hardly ever seen again (except in Free Play and maybe a permanent Drift event). When was the last time you drove the Nordschleife in the Featured Tour...?

I'm also in the same boat of believing this track has a connection to Hakone. The distant mountain in the background of Hakone when going down the main straight looks way too similar to the mountain in this Fujimi Kaido shot. Am I wrong?

Yesterday lol. The Daily Racers showcase with the Toyota Yaris GR.

I would have loved to see returning tracks for EACH series within the tour which would be built around the series' cover cars. I know some if not all the cars are in the game in some form already, but I think that would be fitting for the anniversary. And I would have promoted the update with a video of the T10 team at a track day.

I am not going to hate on Fujimi. Lots of people love the track so, this is a win for the community. They've asked, voted, begged, doubted and filled a voting thread about the track. Its good that Turn 10 has finally listened and recreated the track.

Now, comes the wait until the 20th anniversary update, and the speculation about what else is coming with the update and, I wonder if the career events and award cars will finally make a permanent return?

The community asked, voted, and begged for it, because you can technically say it was one of the core tracks of the franchise that fans loved before it was put in the backseat for a long time until now.

Fujimi not being in a FM is the equivalent of Trial Mountain not being in a GT game, it just doesn't feel right.

I honestly didn't expect Fujimi Kaido to come back. Not the track I asked for myself of course as I never liked driving on it, but I understand why some people wanted it. So, I'll just say I'm happy for the people that got the track they wanted.

Though I'm willing to try the track again, maybe at least to take pictures on it. Maybe I'll enjoy it more with FM2023's physics.

Fujimi Kaido returning is a really good move. Not my personal favourite track (I would have preferred something like Interlagos or Monza to go with my preference for endurance racing), but clearly a community favourite and it shows that Turn10 listens.

And seeing this now actually does make me excited, it's more than 10 years since driving on this track and I'm sure it will look fantastic on the Series X :) And I think it would be really nice for some test driving and hill climbs :)

Did not expect Fujimi to return to the Forza franchise in 2025

A good move from T10 IMO. Will have to redownload the game, looking forward to seeing how the track looks now after 14 years and 2 generations of consoles.

I feel like the content in this game now is incredibly solid with 650+ cars and 29 environments. Could always have more but it's in a good place right now.

It's the other stuff, lack of permanent career additions, lack of creator hub, free play options, private multiplayer options for league racing and all of the other issues many users here have already brought up.

So I hope that the anniversary update is not just Fujimi, some highly requested cars and limited time career events. That maybe they can address at least 1 other issue. I'm not holding my breath, though.

Also, if they don't have public meet up lobbies at Fujimi for this update, I'll be very shocked and disappointed. One of my favorite things to do in FM7, still not yet in FM2023. Makes perfect sense for this update.
