I was hoping for an iconic track like Fujimi to return for the 20th anniversary but I wasn't too confident on it happening.

But hey here we are. Great move by T10. This will be good for me as I've been neglecting the lower class cars that I enjoy on this track for Le Mans prototypes of late. Can't wait to see how this modern day recreation of the track feels.

Intrigued also as to what popular cars might be coming. Going by the polls posted previously by other posters I'm seeing Ferrari 499 and 296 GT3. They would be very popular additions. We saw with BMW month the hypercar/GT3 pairing so why not with Ferrari?

Alongside Fujimi Kaido's return, Turn Ten teased some "highly-requested cars". Since it's the 20th anniversary of Forza, I'd like to predict at least 20 cars that could come on the May update:

  • 2024 Alpine #36 Alpine Endurance Team A424 - Forza Proto-h
  • 2005 BMW #2 BMW M3 GTR - Forza GT2

I would expect them to focus on cars that fit well with Fujimi Kaido and/or Japan. The 499P and 296 GT3 could be added in a later month, potentially with Monza or in an update without a track (the 499P would get enough attention on its own).

Personally I hope they go with a Japanese and hill climb theme and add cars such as the Toyota GR010 (the 2023 livery had cherry blossom so it would really work well), Toyota Chaser, Mazda RT24-P, but then also cars like the VW ID.R, and maybe they can bring back the Mazda Furai from the ashes. And that McMurtry could also be incredible on Fujimi for a crazy hill climb…

Very happy with the return of Fujimi!

I think this Forza is my most played in the series, as in most hours put into it even surpassing FM4 which I played to death. Maybe thanks (or no thanks?) to the FOMO stuff, but I still regularly play it weekly and not because I feel like I need to. Not a perfect game by any means, but there is still something special about it to me.

Tangential, but I'm so happy I got the chance to see it in person before those fools at TG blew it up.

Totally agree, I play FM23 every week because of the FOMO stuff, love it.

I wasn't expecting Fujimi Kaido to return, I'm so happy, I heard that two layouts are confirmed? I was expecting also the layouts, I really liked the Stage D back in FM4.
