Not sure if this was posted or not yet because ive been away for 5 days
I bought a brand new 320Gig PS3 on Shift 2s release date because my old 60Gig YLOD the day before. So i noticed my game kept hard freezing, during visual customization, Changing body kits, and always on the same race at the exact same location on lap 3. I remembered owning a game not too long ago where the same type of thing was happening, and the solution to it was, play OFFLINE until they patch the freezing. So i started playing offline 6 days ago, havent had a single hard freeze yet, I know we shouldnt have to play offline to enjoy the game, but like i said, its a temporary fix until they patch it.
Oh yeah, PS, the reason everyones cars feel so floaty, laggy, and twitchy at high speeds, Go into the tuning menu for your car, lower the steering lock, then buy a GT3 car (you can sell it right after), check what its damper (for some reason, all of the cars except the GT3, GT1, GTX, and some Modern A cars have there Dampers all set to 0) and suspenion settings are at, and change your cars settings to the same as the GT3 cars... it worked fine for me and now im enjoying the game more then ever. Hopefully it'll work for you, cause it worked for me!
