Hope the best for ya.....If all else fails, drink some Crown with Loratabs...that will help with the pain..=)

Ha ha, I don't drink and I hate taking medicine so I'll probably be in pain for a while. Thanks for showing concern Kat. Later. :)

I just wanted to let you guys know I was in a car accident. Some idiot turned in front of me while I was going thru a green light. They were cited for wreckless driving and their insurance will take care of everything. I hurt my knee and just got home after 2 hours in the hospital. X-rays were negative on my knee but the swelling is too bad for a MRI right now. My car is totalled and my knee hurts. What a mess. :grumpy:

Man that sucks Wiggs. Sorry to hear that. Get well soon bud. 👍

Now you can sign up for medicinal weed

Sorry to hear that Wiggs, let's hope it'll be all good very soon! Getting your knees crushed is the last thing you want!

Thanks Carlos. The knee feels a lot better this morning. I'll pass on the medicinal weed too.

WIGGS: Sorry to hear about your accident. That will probably slow down your driving on FM4. Or you could just drive AUTO. Then maybe I could stay on the same lap as you:lol:

As for insurance companies, you guys need what we have. 'No Fault' accident.

If you are deemed at fault you pay $700 to get your car fixed and the person you hit is taken care of.

That and almost free health care (my operations, 3 chemo and 30 rounds of radiation cost me $75 in parking fees, $200 in medicine to keep me from throwing up)

Like you I hate taking any kind of medicine..

BUT::: we are at -25C (-13F) this morning:nervous:

Actually, Florida is a No Fault state, but I'm not sure how that works here. I've never been in an accident. They were at fault and so their insurance is gonna take care of everything. I just have to go thru the hassle of making phone calls, getting a rental, and all that crap before they cut me a check and I can look at getting another car.
BTW, I left foot brake and my left knee is the one that's hurting. I haven't tried to a race in Forza since it happened so I'm not sure how that's gonna work out. :scared:
That's all you had to pay for those procedures? I spent 4 days in the hospital last year and the bill was $30,000. I had to pay about $2000 of that. I have decent insurance and I've spent at least $3500 on medical procedures in the last 2 years.

That is pretty nuts Wiggs.i'm always saying my insurances were high on costs, but when I have an accident and it's not my fault my car will be repaired or todays worth in money (but then they keep the car.) I had a 'full' insurance, that even covered when I was at fault but was €250,- a month so after a while I took the normal one (€125,-).

I always thought living in the US was cheap..

That's cold browneyedman!! It's around 0 here and -5 at night. Already feels like -20!

I saw a program on tv. A fellow from California had the exact same thing as me, throat and neck cancer, same exact treatments. His HMO covered up to $1,000,000. He had to sell his house to pay the remaining $400,000. Ouch.

My wife and I just looked at each other...$1.4 mil??? He said after he got finished, his words were "I feel better, but a lifetime of work gone. Now were broke. If I had known, I'd of left my family heartbroken but richer" Mind you that keeps doctors in Ferraris... Great health care in Saskatchewan. We get to have both (money and health)

Awww that's nasty!! Does the insurance pay for repairs or anything? And do they cover for your knee?

Goodluck with everything 👍

Glad im in Florida. Outside at a friends house in shorts and a t-shirt drinking a beer atm.

Btw I really hope you're able to beat that cancer.

So far so good:nervous:

By march the weather will still be -20C (-4F) but we'll be used to it, so we will be in shorts, t- shirt, drinking beer..
