FPM: Championship Season 3 planning

That Escort is excellent Kat! Absolutely love that car in C and B class.

Can some guys that are going to do the R2 class, maybe run some laps so we can compare? I ran a few laps on Catalunya, 1:45.17. Fastest of the club now but I can't say the other times are their bests..

Ok.......found this ol thing in a field outside of town..The ol Brit that had it sold it too me for a song....Yeah I had to sing.....but I think it was worth it.....Put me down for the Escort

Good choice. That's a good car in B and A class....actually a leaderboard car in A, but still good in B. It's a rocket, but as you know, also a bit oversteery. Thanks for racing today Marmite, Hamster, ImaRobot, and saskman. I would have won on Hockenheim if I didn't take myself out by running into the Hamster. :banghead:

I'm unavailable, but that's ok! I can race if I happen to have a day off. I get off work either 11am your time or 1pm your time. Depends on the day. This is stupid. Maybe me and my girlfriend ought to move to the States. With the winter coming in a few months and all.. :lol:

We really need to figure out a day/time that works for you. I've never beat you in a club race and I have every intention of doing that this season. ;)

How long does it take you to get home? We could go for 11:30am or even a few minutes after... 11:45am is the absolute latest I could start to leave enough time for the race and to get to work after and even at 11:45 the race can't be any longer than 30 min

Thanx Wiggs...yeah I MIGHT be asking for some help if I hit a wall with the tuning..It is a little sketchy in corners sometimes and it realy dont have the top end as some cars but I still love to drive it....
 
I have a schedule of the 8 races. If you want me to post it I can or hold it off so drivers don't start setups for other tracks in advance...

Depending on how things are going towards the end of the season I may add a 9th and 10th race if we have a few drivers with 4 races run or if we just keep getting good turn outs. Those last 2 races (if run) will be catered to guys that are behind in the standings as well.

I'd like to see the race schedule in advance. Forcone's in my class....I'll need all the extra help I can get to compete with that guy. :P

also a side note, I decided to change my car pick to the 1994 Honda Civic VTi. I'm positive this time. It seems to be running closer to Wiggs then my other cars.

Race 1. Hockenheimring National Circuit. 17 laps
Race 2. Camino Full Circuit. 19 laps
Race 3. Indianapolis Oval. 25 laps
Race 4. Rally di Positano. 19 laps
Race 5. Road Atlanta. 16 laps
Race 6. Nurburgring GP short. 17 laps
Race 7. Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe. 5 laps
Race 8. Bernese Alps Festival Circuit. 12 laps
 
Nice selection Chris 👍 I think we R2 guys have to wait a while for B class in some races, but I don't care. A good chat with you guys is always welcome :D I just hope our ghosts won't go crazy.
 
I think the R2 guys can quit as soon as they are done without it affecting anything. Not totally sure though. I think as long as we save the replay it should be fine though.
 
^ I know. I was thinking the same thing but I needed a track that was as technical as can get and that is one of the toughest.

I like the idea really. Its going to be an intense race actually. Not many places to pass so it'll be a pretty crazy race. I'm actually looking forward to it lol

Nice selection Chris. Positano will be a demolition derby. :lol: The oval should be interesting. I'll need to run lots of practice laps on Camino since I rarely race there. Will everyone be able to use mics? That will help reduce the chances of incidents.
 
Gonna have to gear the hell out of the Escort on a few of those....good choices.....

Next question, we still gonna qualify??.....Since we have the tracks ahead of time could we go ahead and put down times??....Just saying since this season is split there is very little difference between 1st and 4th place

I wish I could but I had too many problems with the full lock glitch to risk it. Which brings me to something else. I'm going to need someone that is using a mic to announce the starting order for the pace lap. Can you still do this Jimbo?
