Hey Cris, thanks for adding me on the list. The car I picked out is going to be the 1997 Volvo 850R. Hope it's going be a good car to use. It seems to handle & run pertty good.

Welcome 👍 Can I store some of my spare tires in your stationwagon? :D

You guys can store all your spare tires in the back I'll even tie some on the roof :). My car mite not be to fast, the best lap time I could get on Hockenheim was 01:50.543.

Ok, well scratch that, let me play with a few more...

Ok, now it is the #3 Chevrolet Corvette Racing C5.R

Like Chris said, you may want to pick another car. I really don't see that car being competitive, unless you have an ace tune on it and you're an alien driver.
Not so fast I did a 1:40.xxx in the volvo it has good accl in second gear
I will put the tune up on my storefront give it a try

I'm gonna try your tune and see what time I can get with it....sounds like you're one heck of a tuner/driver...I'll reserve judgement until I try it for myself.

Hey Sven..glad to see your in here..good fun...And yeah you might want to see about getting a faster car....(other than the leaderboard cars that are banded)....There are some fun cars out there

Forcone, I finally figured out the optimal lines and brake zones on Hockenheim National and was able to get a little closer to your time. I'm less than .3 behind you, but you may be safe since I don't think I'll have time to run anymore qualifying laps before Wedenesday night. 🤬 I actually had a couple of dirty 1:39's. :banghead: @VICGT1970, I picked up your Volvo tune and ran a couple of laps on Hockenheim National. It's a good tune, but the best I could do was high 1:42's. You might be a better driver than I am though.

The best car I can come up with is my 2009 Seat Ibiza CUPRA with 01:46.434lap time on Hockenheim.

Can I recommend some cars for you to try? You'll get murdered in that. Ferrari 250 Cali, Lotus Elan, Escort Cosworth, Lancia 037, and Merc 190E aren't banned but run high leaderboard times. There's a few more I can recommend if you don't like those.

What other cars do think would be good? I can make a list and check them out twomarrow.

Ford Pinto, Toyota Aygo, Porsche 550, and almost any Integra or Civic, besides the banned Type R are also good in B class. I don't know what your skill level is, but if you're average or below you'll need one of those cars to be competitive.

Please excuse my ignorance.

But all we have to do is run our time and the leaderboard time is our qualifying attempt. So if I know that I cant race at Hockenheim for Friday, then I should go ahead a race at Camino for qualifying for Saturday?

All your qualifying points count towards your season total, so you still want to make good qualifying runs for the points, even if you're not able to make a race.

Also you do not want to start to Qualify on a track UNTIL the race before is over with....In other words you cannot put a Qualifing time down until the prior race is over...Hope this makes sense

Speaking of which I havent qualified myself...Looks like the time to beat is 1:40.--....Ill see what I can do tonight

Okay, that makes much more sense.

I should be able to get a time down tonight.

Also, some of you fools need to participate in the FRS, if you are running hot laps to quality anyways, a few more for the weekly event couldn't hurt.

Besides, we need more participation.
