I'm imagining a cherry picked "dashboard" of events with car choices similar to previous games.

Not expecting tuning or car selling or buying.

It has to be a minimal taster to move up buy GT7 or it's going to be the first move to a F2P model 🤔

I think we can safely say there is a main game update coming next week as well as MFGT

Not necessarily.

-In 2022 the finals were on late November and they give the Ferrari VGT until mid December
-Last year the finals were at the beginning of December, but the Genesis VGT was given until January update

I would love to see the return of Tokyo R246 and Indianapolis Speedway in My First Gran Turismo or in Gran turismo 7 in the near future. Having those two tracks back in Gran turismo will completely make a long awaited return of the Dream Car Championship series for Gran turismo 5. And even here's I would predict the Championship race layouts slots would if it returns of not.

For credit prizing for each race plus a clean race bonus.
1st: 86,600cr. + 50% = 129,900cr. (Stack it 5 times = 649,500cr. + 250,000cr. = 899,500cr.)
2nd: 62,500cr + 50% = 93,750cr.
3rd: Cr. 55,300 + 50% = 82950
4th: Cr. 52,000 + 50% = 78000
5th: Cr. 50,500 + 50% = 75750
6th: Cr. 49,600 + 50% = 74400
  • Indianapolis Superspeedway: 10 laps
  • Autodromo Nazionale Monza (variable weather): 10 laps
  • Tokyo R246: 10 laps
  • Circuit De La Sarthe (variable weather): 3 laps
  • Nürburgring 24h (variable weather): - 3 laps

My First Gran Turismo will be a collection of carefully curated experiences based on the previous GT games. I think.

-GT1: High Speed Ring with the '93 Mazda RX-7 efini (Song: Moon Over The Castle)
-GT2: Trial Mountain with the Honda S2000 (Song: Dragula)
-GT3: Grand Valley with the Honda NSX GT500 (Song: Just A Day)
-GT4: Laguna Seca with the Ford GT LM Spec II (Song: Reason Is Treason)
-GT5: Nurburgring GP with the Mercedes SLS AMG (Song: Soul on Display)
-GT6: Midfield Raceway with the Corvette C7 (Song: Alive)

So yes, I'm predicting a new track and an older version of a car already in the game. Probably won't happen but who knows?

Fixed that for you.

Yeah, I can see the legacy tracks in the demo. Plus Fuji Speedway and Tokyo Expressway.

  • Deep Forest
  • Grand Valley Hwy 1
  • High Speed Ring
  • Trial Mountain
  • Tokyo Expressway (any layout for a night race)

We can only dream. At this point i never see this sort of races/structure return to the GT series. Bought GT7 on release and still play it, but GT7 for me will always and forever be "a GT game what have could been".

When announced i imagined it would be a GT7ised version of GT1, but looking at what Sony has done with the PS Store and PS5 UI, i think it will be more like what you've suggested and have eliments of all the previous GT games 👍

lol. literally nothing is reminiscent of the first Gran Turismo besides the "please enter your name". I guess maybe I was reading it wrong the whole time - it's "my first GT - as in, this IS my first GT". The whole time I thought it was intended to be a demo with a classic GT theme.

Still though. Only a trailer but I'm seeing nothing that looks even remotely classic GT besides the name enter screen. Maybe there's a classic GT bonus mode? doubt it.

This is great though for people who might be interested but don't wanna jump in and regret it if they don't like it.

EDIT: I guess the starting event car choices maybe? and the car stats. Suppose I expected a bit more GT1/GT2 theming but I think I was looking at it the wrong way from the beginning. Still cool though for new players who wanna try it out.

I misread the marketing blurb. I retract my message.
