I had Dead Nation beforehand so after lots of consideration, checking up and demo-playing I picked WipeoutHD and Ratchet&Clank. I'm really happy with that choice, I like both games alot. Infamous and LBP just didn't do it for me. I don't get the hype around these games.

I went to download my 2 free PSP games and they are not showing in the account management / services list!

So how do I download them if they arnt showing up in both places ? Could someone help!

Go to the download page on the store (one of the four icons in the top right), they should show up there. When I checked the store last week, inFamous - which I have redeemed but not yet downloaded - was available in my download list 👍

Thanks for the reply Sharky,

Its not in the download list either. I never originally claimed the PSP games and now they are not listed anywhere!

Are you looking for them on your PSP? I tried looking for them on the PS3 before that and I couldn't see them on the PSN but once I switched to the PSP I found them on the PSN straight away.

PSN Blog
All existing PSN registrants have 30 days from when the welcome back programme goes live to redeem their content.

That was posted on the 16th May. 30 days has passed since then, but I don't know when the welcome back programme started.

No, I'm looking on my PS3 because I don't have a PSP but want to get these games because I might get a Vita. That might be the reason why but they arnt there but they should be showing up in PS3's PSN regardless.

For those wanting to know the welcome back package went live on June 3rd.

I'm sure you would need to have a PSP, or a PSP registered with your PS3, in order to get the PSP games

That's not true, you can download them without a PSP at all, they just sit on your PS3 XMB as 'bubbles'.

The Welcome Back program doesn't expire until July 3, so you should still be able to get the games - to confirm, you can't find them under Account Management>Transaction Management>Services List>SCEA Promotion in the PSN section of the XMB?

No they are not in the services list > SCEE Promotion. All it says in there is free PS3 games (0 remaining) but no 'free PSP games'. That whats so odd with this problem because they are not listed anywhere and never even selected them! Its driving me nuts!

A few others on the net have had the same problem and they can't find a way either.

Yes, but that might not be the case with the welcome back freebies.

I got my PSP freebies by "buying" the welcome back package on my PSP. Once I had that, then 2 of the 4 PSP games were available for me to download. I downloaded one on the PSP and one on the PS3. You probably cannot "buy" the welcome back package as you do not have a PSP.

When I checked for the free PSP games using my PS3 they were not available. When I used my PSP to check, they were available. Therefore no PSP equals no free games.

I manged to download 2 free PSP games using just the PS3 on a US account so its simply not true that you need a PSP to get these games. It's the EU account I'm having trouble with. They were there a few weeks ago (never clicked on them) but now they have totally disappeared.

It is true. The PSP games are visible on the USA PSN but not the Euro PSN when accessed via the PS3. I know that because I looked for them on the Euro PSN via my PS3 as soon as the free games became available. They were not there. I tried again using my PSP and they were there. I then checked the USA PSN and found them via my PS3.

I could have sworn I saw the PSP games on the EU PS3 store a few weeks ago but it might be as you say that only the EU store does not display PSP content unless your on a PSP. Why do they do it different over here?

Is there a way to download the PSP games from the PC playstation store then?

EDIT- emailed Sony and they are aware of this, got to ring them to get it sorted. It also won't download on Media Go.

WipeoutHD is simply the best game in this pack, a must have for every PS3 owner imho. I bought it last year so I choosed Infamous and think I'll pick R&C instead of LBP which doesn't hype me too much. Infamous is a good game with nice graphics and gameplay, my biggest disappintment is it doesn't have save checkpoints once you start a mission, you can save the game but it wont let you going from there, it will bring you back to the start of a mission, how dumb. I miss when devs weren't schyzofrenic a******s :).

I had two accounts so I got Infamous, Dead Nation, Wipeout, and Superstardust. I already own LBP which came as a package with my controller.

I think I may have a similar problem to Robin's;

I have already downloaded the Wipeout game a few weeks back but now that I want to download my second game, LBP, the games are nowhere to be found. There still is a little window listing the games when I click on the Welcome Back window in the PS Store but it doesn't respond. I highly doubt 30 days have passed since I downloaded Wipeout so I might try and e-mail Sony unless someone has got any idea what's going on? Downloaded Wipeout from my PS3 system BTW.

Yeah I also clicked that window with the games thumbnails and nothing happened. If you can't find them in the services list, download list or on the store there seems to be no other option than to contact Sony. Its funny because the SCEE has (as usual) done the offer differently to the rest of the world's stores.

The whole welcome back offer doesnt expire till July 3rd so you still within the time period. If you do email Sony let me know what they say because I still can't download my remaining 2 PSP games.

Robin.

Thanks,

Yeah the simplest of things like offering some free games has been implemented in the most overcomplicated way :dunce:, so much so they even had to issue a statement to tell people to look in the services list thingy if they don't show up.

I don't know if this has been posted already, but the list in the OP is (in a minor way) incomplete.
Because of german regulations that do not allow for games/media etc that are rated 18+ over here to be given out for free, Dead Nation and inFamous were not on the list in the german PSN store. Instead they were replaced by Super Stardust HD and and Hustle Kings. The others (Wipeout, LBP and R&C) were available.

That was pretty irrelevant for me as I immediatly got LBP and Wipeout, but I taught it's maybe worth mentioning.

BTW: Both are awsome games, and getting 2 AAA titles for free, even if they are old, when I would have had to pay 30€ retail price for LBP and about 20 € for Wipeout in the PSN, is about the greatest move Sony could have made. I can not see Microsoft giving out Halo for free. Thanks Sony!!

I tried to download them, but I couldn't.
Unable to chose my free games, I had one thing in my mind:
