Le Mans Racing Season 2019 - 2020 Round 4 Results and Cup Standings​

This one was all about saving fuel and strategy. At this game Tin_pan_driver was undoubtedly the best. On the green and as usual Buybon took the lead with a strong jump start, first corner at Dunlop we had no crash (thank you all for nice driving). First lap BuyBon and Tin_pan_driver started to make the gap, Tom_Ascar couldn’t reduce it and after bad strategy was forced to realize “this not my day”. In the back Armoriquedu72 and Jim_Korvette had their own fight thank you guys for nice racing spirit.


Regulation:
No point for best lap because Tin_pan_driver’s best lap was made under penalty
2 points penalty to Jim_Korvette for finish with penalty still active



As usual Buybon took the lead with a strong jump start

first corner at Dunlop we had no crash

We are now at half of mid season before Christmas break (from 12/16/19 to 01/05/20). There is 2 drivers climbing their way up in the standing BuyBon and Tin_pan_driver who recently joined the Sunday Cup. As Tom_Ascar had race all rounds from the beginning he is still first but I’m sure he’s place could be in danger during the second season part from January till June.

After a few Round on Le Mans we will race with one of the hardest car FERRARI F40 1992 (N500), but maybe the one that is the best on Les Hunaudières.

Before the race I will open practice Lobby in the week
Thursday 11/07/19 around 16 BST
and Sunday Warm up 45 minutes before the race

Le Mans Racing Season 2019 - 2020 Round 5 Results and Cup Standings​

For that last race I must say “that was the best one with the hardest car we had to race on Le Mans”.
On the green BuyBon and Tom_Ascar toke a fast start and BuyBon for a few laps manage to make a comfortable gap, every one thought “it’s BuyBon race today”. At start, before Dunlop domingo-truck toke over Tin_pan_driver on the outside, after that on Les Hunaudières Tin_pan_driver with the draft try to get he’s position back and let go to play it safe. Unfortunately domingo-truck had a bad break at Mulsanne went in the sand and lost the 3th spot. Al the race the draft gave us nice passings on Les Hunaudières. Poor Jim_Korvette was a lot in the sand I think I visit them all Trophy for that my friend. We sure had nice close racing, come backs, passing in pit and a close finish. Thank you all for great spirit. Also I give Tin_pan_driver the no penalty trophy, it was a challenge here with that difficult car well done mate.

LMP PORSCHE 962C 1988 (Gr.1)​

After a little pause now we are in for 80th LMP race with PORSCHE 962C 1988 (Gr.1) it will be a 50 minutes endurance race. Already I did run a few tests and after that I started to really enjoy the car, smooth to drive, long gear that makes saving fuel piece a cake, maybe not the best LMP in GT Sport but I think a good one for a MONO-TYPE race.

Before the race I will open practice Lobby in the week
Tuesday 12/03/19 around 16 BST for about an hour
Thursday 12/05/19 around 16 BST for about an hour
and Sunday Warm up 45 minutes before the race
