Kind of what I was going for to be fair
If it does end up successful, i'd like to maybe split it up to include some small touring cars etc, make it a bit more varied and introduce some multi-class racing.
Then again these series are already run on GTP, one of which I'm a part of (WEC Season 3) but that's endurance which was also my first GTP race.

Considering I destroyed everybody's lives by suggesting a Focus Championship, how about we form the WHTBOCWGTTCTTASRS as a ToCA support?

EDIT - This is some good promotional work by me:View attachment 135050

I feel sorry for you, making this then it being scrapped lol.

Though seriously why bother asking Furi! He's like your idol or something, just make it and see what happens :P

I want to run it as part FRL, it gives it a bit more credibility.

This is my idea for the series:

I remember a scratch race I saw at Oulton Park at the end of a raceday, and the field consisted of (no joke):

A 355 Challenge

A Mustang Silhouette

Two Caterhams

Three Clubmans

A Blower Bentley

An Austin 7

Various other VSCC pre-war cars

I know a grid that diverse isn't possible in GT6, and that sounds a bit stupid, but I don't think it's as bad a sit seems. The fact was that although the field was ridiculously diverse, and of course the Ferrari and Mustang were competing for the overall win, the small clumps of similar cars provided excellent racing. Possibly one of the most entertaining races i've ever seen.

I think the best thing is we could end up with a series where literally anybody could find a good battle. It doesn't matter what cars you like running, because they can all end up running against each other.

Hokay, testing the Mazda6. Again, i'm finding it awfully slow. Any rough PP figure I should be testing it at?

The HP was around 620/680? Either forgot about the weight or it was never included.

@Akmuq will most likely get in the RBX car.
This has been run by Furi? :odd:
This comes with uniqueness by having random cars running against each other. Say tuned GT500's, GTLM's, PD race cars, slow LMP's, PPIHC, tuned DTM cars etc...

Interesting concept. NOT on the to do list until late this year at the very earliest.

I'll launch a dedicated thread now. I'll get a general interest check, and we'll probably only be doing weekly fun races before a series can be organised.

At least you think it has some joint-FRL potential...
"The WHTBOGTTCTTASRS -
If your car's not fast enough, waste a 🤬 load of money until it is!"

:P

I know that I would use a Clio set up to the Clio Cup specs or a stock Fiat 500 for fun.
That's essentially what I want. Thank you for saying that, it gives me hope that we can get a truly diverse and eclectic field.

Thread up later tonight 👍
