I already did test session in Daytona Speedway and interesting results came to my 3 tested cars.
Planning to go on all kinds of tracks eventually, but early schedule should mainly include tracks with medium average speed. I'd suggest not to go testing at power tracks like Spa or Bathurst as this will bias your results.

Please note that 2 changes have been made to the specs. The power & weight specs were always correct, but for 2 cars a wrong part was listed.

The Isometric Exhaust should not be on the Spitfire and the Mini Marcos.

OP has been corrected.

My apologies for the confusion.

Eh... looking at the lobby details, the signal bars are 0/5. Don't think I'll be able to have a good connection with that.

After yesterday's test session I have now 5 cars on my test list.
Yesterday's test race was interesting and races should be good fun.

Since it would be awkward having to rely on someone else's club, I just created the "Snow Crash Club", which will host all HTCC-related events henceforth.

I'll be sending out invitations today…

Edit: If you don't receive one and feel you should have, please holler.

Ok, I'll run one more test session next Saturday, Aug. 1st. I'd like to focus on some short races of 5-10 minutes length before we kick off the series properly.

Official series will start on Aug. 8th. I'm currently planning with the following schedule for tracks:

Silverstone GP
Ascari
Rome (Should we do Forward or Reverse...?)
Brands Hatch GP 80's
Motegi East

So I received an invitation to the club, and everything's fine and dandy with the exception of the tiny little detail that for reasons unknown, my GT6 refuses to accept club invitations. Seriously, I can click on the "OK" button in the invitation message as many times as I want, it doesn't add me anywhere. I don't even remember how I was able to get into FRL in the first place. It probably had something to do with joining manually, since the invitation messages led me absolutely nowhere.

I've always had to do it through Gran Turismo's website in the community section. The game invites have never worked for me either.

Rome Reverse for me. Everything else is good.

Monza 80's?

Monza 80's?

I'm intending to try both Rome layouts this Saturday. For the time being, Reverse layout is planned, mainly because I don't like the last corner in the forward layout. :P

Monza is very much on the fast side for these cars, so it will bring out some top speed differences that can not really be addressed through the BoP. The cars are very even in straight line speed until 205km/h or so, but above that some cars just keep on accelerating and some just run into some sort of wall. That will also be apparent on tracks like Nordschleife or Sierra (which are certainly planned to be visited), but there you have many corners to balance those cars against the cars best in top speed.

Saying that, if series attendance stays high enough, I'm sure we'll try a Monza-race eventually, although I'm not sure it will be the 80's layout, because in my opinion it's a) prone to cause crashes in the first chicane even more than the standard layout, and b) the two Lesmos are even faster and less of a challenge in these cars. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there. Maybe Monza turns out to be an epic slipstream-battle. Who knows?
