I had worked on the car the last couple of days to try to get it to be a contender to qualifyfor the race on Sunday. Unfortunately, 2 crashes in Turn 3 may have wrecked my hopes of being in the race on Sunday. :( I guess I'll find out when I get home from work, because I work until 2 pm US EDT and I won't be online until about 20 minutes until the race.

So, would it be possible to fit my quali in at 7:00PM just before the race?

Yes. Just got home  , so...

Many thanks to @DrifterJoe for sending me data on runs of @gtpanoz , @MatheusBond , @hsv , @SagarisGTB , @CAMikaze . Note that as Cami only completed 1 lap, he is put to behind the people who completed 4. Cami currently sits "on the bubble".

Cami did complete all laps, but we'd forgotten to put on heavy damage, so the car didn't get any damage and he was able to carry on. The laps were 41.143 51.657 42.223 and 48.122
I don't think he'd have been going as quickly after crashing with damage

That invalidates the laps. @CAMikaze gets another chance.

LIFE! (Azumanga Daioh reference) :gtpflag:

Would it be OK if I did my 'Last-Chance-Quali' runs tomorrow before the BTCC Pre-Quali or between the BTCC races and the FRL Freedom 100 race? Working until 11 am and will be home and online just after Noon US EDT tomorrow here.

Don't you mean TOCA?

BTW, regarding my Q-run, I'll be able to run it either before or after tonight's Indy Lights race...

Right, couple notes:

I am available to supervise Q from now until 6.45pm BST pretty much. Indy Lights is at 10pm BST and should be done for 11.30pm BST. I'll stay on until approx 12:30am BST.

Found some time to look through the race replay and found quite a few controller users had a lot of front tyre wear from the lock that they have to use as you don't get as much freedom or control on the DS3.

Me & Joe had roughly the same rear wear(mine slightly better) and he had more front tyre wear by about 10% thanks to higher steering lock(in game) - scrubbing the tyres as I call it.

HSV in particular had loads of lock through the twisty stuff which is what puts the strain on the front tyres. That's why full lock on a wheel is almost useless apart from recovering from an off track moment. This may also explain why so many people struggled with tyre wear last week.

Joe's a DS3 user :dopey:
