My PB was a 1 45. Usually i'm slower than everyone by about 3 seconds on this game
Then the tires or race setting are different than what me and splurgy are running as we are running 1.49s, like CND

Livery selection is randomized for those of us who don't have the DLC.

1:49.2 was all I could manage on the regular tire with the fuel settings set on like half fuel.

Also, we could be the Schmidt-Peterson team if you want to

You online now?

So, I've learned that the DW12 doesn't like to be revved in first gear on the starting line with the brakes applied. Not sure if anyone saw my car lurching forward on the countdown at Road America.:dunce:

Though I'm not sure where that lag came from at the start.

Just looking for more people interested in running. We run on different day so not trying to take anyone away. Would never post in here advertising for my series. I'm not sure yet if I will be available but I'll keep you updated. Good luck with your series!

After today, I highly doubt you ran 1 45s on Road America. Maybe on that poor excuse for an oval track though..

:ouch: And PCARS is so lacking in the oval department :(

By the way Monaco changed to 2x 25 lap Duels, half points per race.

A few things.

Teams or Solo?
Are the races really going to be that long?
Damage seems to be an issue?

We're doing teams

I think the races are too long as well. 40 laps at Road America is the better part of an hour and a half if not more with cautions

And we'll see how many rounds we destroy half the field in turn 1 before we either turn damage off or learn how to drive. Damage for the ovals is off because that will definitely be a crash fest

In my view:

~We were doing 10 minute sprint races last night. People aren't going to be driving very cautiously are they?

~Races are intended to be around 70-80 minutes, with cautions might stretch to 90 but little beyond that.

~The oval race distance is being trimmed slightly.

I'm not on about people crashing in particular, It's the fact that even going over certain kerbs break steering. Its was just a bit annoying, Especially around Monaco.

I've never ever had that happen to me, sure it wasn't a glitch? That would be frustrating though.

I've had that happen once or twice

I'm not suggesting sprint format. I'm saying if we did ~40 minute races, everyone will know it's a long one and won't drive like turn 1 is the final corner, but the race won't take too long

The first GT6 series was perfectly fine with races the same length as we had before... not sure what's different.
