I can tell you, that was the first time I really prayed for someone's (i.e. someone who was placed ahead of me in the race) internet connection to hold up until the checkered flag. If Andil had disappeared, there would have been nothing I could have done...

Since writing my earlier post, something has bothered me all day.
I felt "hollow" during the race. I spent most of the time going around on my own (apart from passing @ranhammerR34 now and again and being chased down twice by @Carbonox ). I could not help but feel that the race was just a means to an end.

I'm waiting until someone makes a half-decent SSR11 re-make. The trouble is, PD probably won't implement a search function for created tracks. I remember sending friend requests back in the GT5 days to get tracks off people who had made great tracks.
