Definitely a nice upgrade over the stock TX pedals.
FWIW, the T500 pedals CAN be used as stand-alone pedals -- you need the Bodinhausen adapter and a Bodnar cable (both available from Sim-Sport.net):

Also, owners of the BasherBoard T500RS "Realistic Brake Mod" are eligible for a $10 discount on BLC-T500 Load Cell Mods, FWIW, so if you buy these pedals with the BasherBoards mod, you'll be eligible for a discount if you decide to buy a BLC-T500 Load Cell Mod later on.
