The thing I despise him more than anyone, not even BzB could be that ignorant about a community, and its guidelines. He would always challenge someone to his "terms", while the other team had no say at all.

I wish I can explain more, but I'm at work.

Edit: In his videos he sounds so mundane without any enthusiasm at all, I just noticed that part.

I used to think he was simply misunderstood, but he squandered away every chance we gave him to assimilate. We even banned him, and I wasn't present when it happened. Although I was in the lobby, I was AFK, and he was voted off 3 out of 5. I even tried convincing you guys to give him one last chance, I guess I just give people too many benefits from all the doubts they tend to brew.

Sometimes you just gotta channel your inner Sean Paul and "Deport Dem."

Yeaaaaaahhhh maaaaan, teams are a touchy subject. We're just using LotS as a platform because yall'd've created some good regulations. I've tried talking to Romeo, but he hasn't been on, like, at all. I made some rules up, power rules, weight rules. They're higher than the LotS regs, I figured we could give drivers the chance to strut their skill. I also said that a class lower than the team agreed on is okay. Ex: If the teams agree on A, racers in the teams can use C and it would be considered fine. You cannot, however, use a class higher. I also added a higher class than A, the Max Class. If anyone is still interested in teams, which, it seems, no one is, tell me. My team is active, still, even after, what, four days? I want to move this outside of LotS after we get it somewhere, cause LotS essentially isn't teams. Lots is the thing of alone legends, the "masters of faster" -CG 2017. Somebody give me a boost up so I can keep the dream alive, I'd appreciate any help.

To eliminate the overpopulation of regulations, 3 is best IMO and im sure most will agree.

After all, the way these are set up is not only about performance but style/discipline. We call them A, B, and C for short, but they stand for Light, Balanced, Power.

When im not hosting a battle I usually leave my lobbies unrestricted, except tires, so ppl can run whatever they want. Besides, whenever we add more classes, the majority tend to still only drive ONE. We have 3 classes noe, and people still mostly drive one.

The classes aren't the problem, I wouldn't say there even is a problem, just nit enough active people for there to be a wide field of drivers for all classes.

That could be the WMT side of the LotS story 👍

Actually ... Working on it

There has actually been no official change yet, and it's something I've been curious about too

Omg guys, I'm sooo sorry about this confusion. I totally forgot to change that in the OP in between updating the spreadsheets.

We actually did agree on this last week. Making tue small adjustment for now while we continue working out tue Great Restructuring.

New games and a new platform to cater to, we gotta diversify, broaden, grow, and simplify our rating system to work on any car game... Work in progress.

Mother of all posts long and productive...

I want more drivers, not for teams, just for LotS. We have our regulars, all of which have a great amount of skill, and our first timers that have a long way to go, but there is no in between. There's "please get off the track" and "please teach me how to be like that" types of speed. We need more intermediate drivers. If that happened, all the teams in the world could exist. But as we have it now, there are really good teams, with LotS regulars, and okay teams, with decent recruits. Both of these take place within four teams. I don't know who's out there, but we should do a battle soon. At least give it a try before we all give up on it. We don't even know if it would be fun, if it would create diversity.

Beside that, the thing with the classes, I said A, B, and C because I left out weight restrictions. Just weight reduction levels. Perhaps this: Cars Under 1,000 kg stock get windows and hood only. Cars above 1,000 kg stock get Stage 1, windows and hood. Cars above 1,200 kg get stage 2, windows and hood. "I'm only attracted to street racing, where one can express himself so freely"(Don't hold me to this). -Ryosuke Takahashi. Street racing should have looser regs than circuit. IRL, there aren't regs. GT6 circuit regs do PP, tires, and year. I think the true speed demons will be able to keep up with the times, while the others will be trained to go fast even when their car is slower. Maybe this weekend we get together and try it out.

This is far from true. Did anyone beat KartRacerRT's 4:48 at Akina the other day? G_I_Jonesy has also shown potential. They're both expressing interest and I'm sure they're down to battle if someone challenges them... But who's doing any challenging?

I haven't seen romeo in a week. Roman240 has been in Nurb lobbies, and not in a Touge room since the tournament last Saturday. He had tuned a Nismo 400R for the wrong class, well, he was going by old regulations from last summer... Lord knows where he got those numbers, I dont even have them anymore. We still let him run it as a special circumstance, but he was being sore before even losing, c'mon bro.

So what good is more drivers if nobody challenges anyone?

We are a club and community for like-minded drivers before a competitive league, so it is my prerogative to ensure that all prospects and members I interact with enjoy their experience and want to drive with us again.

We don't discriminate anyone because of them being fast or slow. "I'm too fast for you" are words you'll never see from me when a new guy who is much slower than the rest asks me for a run, cuz I want him to have a good time. Im nit ginna intimidate with with battle talk.

Which is also ironic, because if you look on the records, the majority of the battles of the last 2 years have been SolidSnake7735 vs CG3284. And I lose every single one of those.

But too many times new guys come in thinking they got da sauce, the solution, and just point fingers, and serve scribbles on tissue paper, try to turn it in forgetting they did last year's olhomework. Oops.

They wont go into a losing battle, and they don't comeback from them either. So what limits are you pushing?

Perhaps this: Cars Under 1,000 kg stock get windows and hood only. Cars above 1,000 kg stock get Stage 1, windows and hood. Cars above 1,200 kg get stage 2, windows and hood.

Too complex and creates more hurdles than necessary to get on the road and drive.

C and B classes: Power/Weight/PP. Simple, no? 3 caps, and you can't hit them all, at most u hit 2. So you have to sacrifice power or weight.

A Class is all-encompassing. 500hp and currently 10PP higher than when we started nearly 6 years ago. Tried and true.

Higher classes are fun, but nobody commits or tunes a car for running it. People just want it there as a benchmark so they can run with others in faster cars and not have to feel cheated/cheating by using an evenly matched ar to your opponent. But NOBODY EVER BATTLES in the high performance class.

Street racing should have looser regs than circuit. IRL, there aren't regs.

Ooohohoho, your veil is flowing in the wind and wearing thin.

@Winters Noble @Slender_Man @787bcgr @JakeMR2 This is one of the reasons I brought up that whole LotS 10 commandments concept before, to avoid this line of reasoning. Not to avoid the question, but to already have the answer for the query.

The first (unofficial, until voted on) commandment of LOTS:

1. Thou shalt stop making a fool of yourself by insisting that the racing in a video game (basically a long string of code set to execute functions within very limited and controlled parameters and boundaries) should be treated like in real life (I won't get into the details, but the PS3 cant simulate life, im sure you can imagine the console's shortcomings).

Because, after doing Touge on GT for 6 years, we've come to realize the things GT doesn't simulate all that well. Hence, our regulations are geared towards competitive balance.

Although not as straightforward as it was in 2011, but we aren't trying to micromanage anyone. Instead the macro at work holds all 2WD cars to the same standard. With 4WD being handicapped because they've proven over the years to have a huge advantage, especially uphill, which are most of the courses we run.
----------

I understand that we all have lives outside of the game, so I can only expect everyone respect our friends time.

@EscariotEK9 has yet to respond publicly here which of the 3 proposed courses of action we were going to embark on regarding team operations. Only then can we delegate responsibilities, open the thread, get peoples' teams "on paper," etc.

In the meantime, you cant expect a freshly minted quarter to be worth a fortune. It's new, it has no value beyond what's stamped on it. In the future maybe it'll be collectible, ir perhaps you put it somewhere to collect interest.

We're trying to collect interest.

Until said interest hasn't compounded past a certain threshold, we can't take the next step to diversify our portfolio.

TS;DR:
- We need drivers, period. Doesn't matter if they're fast or slow.

- We should do more for slower guys when they're new to get comfortable with the Touge. Most aren't used to courses you cant break 80mph twice on, or a minimum of 100 corners per course (Nurb has like 73 officially?)

- On the matter if further regulation changes: My 1 vote is No.

- You guys want to make TOUGE great again?! Well you're gonna have to WORK for it. You want TEAMS? Go RECRUIT, hold tryouts! BATTLES? Go PRACTICE and CHALLENGE someone.

- There are plenty of different skilled drivers within our ranks that you're bound to find someone on a level playing field as you.

NOTE: I'm sorry for the rant guys, it's been a long day and im just getting home. Dont take it personal, it's business. I Didn't even get to go on GT. I love GT on Sundays :banghead::(

I definitely agree that there's been a few individuals act a bit too snobbish, as if they're "too good" for the average driver, and only talk to their own people. Trust me, I hate it when someone asks them a question and they get straight up ignored, if the community bothers you so much, then stick to your own private lobbies. If you think touge on gt6 is dead, then explain why you have a lobby titled "touge" with 8 or more people, all running while you just spectate? I just don't understand some people, they're so high up on their proverbial horse, thinking they're the heroes, when they're actually causing harm. This is also a reason I'm not a member of a team anymore

The thing with imtermediate drivers, G_I_Jonesy and Kart_Racer are regulars. I consider them highly skilled racers as it is. People like Slender are our Takumis and such. People like me are the Iketanis. And then there are Itsukis. If you put it like that, we have a great range of driver skill. But when it comes down to racing on the actual track, it's a lot different. You covered the rest pretty substantially, I understand now why LotS is the way it is.

However, you said if I want teams, hold tryouts and recruit. I seem to be the only one with any interest in even trying anything new. Some of you agree, then forget that you're suppose to do something. I'm highly interested in holding a team battle this weekend, for ****s and giggles, to try it. It's too tense in here for me.

Rabble Rouser!! I call Rabble Rouser!!!!

But seriously, no one is saying you can't create teams. Hell, I'm pretty sure many are interested in this idea. If you want to create a team-oriented sphere in the touge community, we encourage you, but as of right now, Lots cannot adequately incorporate that function. Plus, as some stated earlier, Drama is to be avoided, which is part and parcel of teams. So, Go forth!!, hold tryouts, build your numbers. Just because the idea won't be Lots organized doesn't mean we won't support you. Hajime is a different entity and we support each other. You can do the same. You don't need our permission, whether it be GTTC or RLT (okay, maybe not the latter but still) or something else.

Let's revive RLT as the legitimate team branch of LotS

GT is just a game.
It takes awhile to accept that.
Without regulation there's no reason to have races, since you can just outtune or have a strictly better car.
IE the EvoX.
I'm still a fan of looser regs though.
Dropping all the restrictions and being purely HP restricted, in a 200/280/280+ classes. You cant police the ballast or power limiter rule breakers, so why even have it as a rule in the first place?
There are going to be superior cars in any system. Might as well just keep it open.
I appreciate the back up Frenzy. I just want to over come the fact that GT6 is a game. And, yes, there are a lot of things that only honorable LotS members will obey, and many others will not. Superior cars will always exist, there is nothing anyone can do about it. Racing is based on honor and pride. Not many in GT have honor, they want power to win. Everyone has pride, but it means different things to different people. Maybe we forget about anything that's been going on with teams, but I refuse to forget until I've had my taste.

He was never trying if you beat him, but it was life and death if he won (and according to his measurements, he always won by a mile). In his eyes, always the fastest on the course despite being a completely average driver. One of the more grating personalities here.
It's impossible to run in front of him too. Too eager. Would scrape and bump you constantly and if there was ever anything large, it was because you "brake-checked" him, or there was lag.

Let's see, is this true?

So you need to accept that GT can't completely tell who is faster. Therefore there's no reason to have honor or pride in the game, since there's nothing to defend. It's just a game. We're all here to do what we can't in real life.

👍

"just have fun"

I got a good replay on my PS3 against him  where i lose control near the beginning of the race and pass him on the outside later on in the race.... he was very easy to read from a chaser's POV...

When Touge has cops, you know something is not right since cops don't go on the mountain to chase after you. As I was saying it's not GT: Most Wanted...

>"As you can see we are not drifting."
>*Drifts the second lap, logic.*
>Exo I don't see traffic, it would be good to have around 10 to 16 people on track at one point... I like the traffic element because you can do some cool stuff, but this is not Wangan.
>"Welcome to the Real-- Legends of The Streets".

My last criticism on Exo, I can't stand him taking the LoTS name and rebranding it as something similar, it shows no compassion nor any relevancy along GT6 touge platforms at all. Everyone has their own different style of regulations, I get that, but this. I just can't stand for the name alone in the video, yet. Long ago people still supported him, even if he did something wrong, which he was not supposed to. He broke tons of rules and started a lot of commotion for the team that I was on, and he did not show up for the challenge at all. I was like this: "It couldn't be that bad, I hope he shows up to where I can have a bit of fun", but nope. He did not deliver a promise.

/end of rant.

I thought you had one already?

it wasn't LotS and I forgot the login.

I would get a new capture card... Would. But a few things need thing care of first. But soon. Because if GT Sport doesn't have Course Maker and PD doesn't (I pray) cut off GT6 online right away... Then it could play out very well for us, relatively.

There's barely any Touge gaming content on YouTube. The majority of racing game content is drifting. We have our own thing here! Lol

Could always use your smart phone

Isn't it only Race Cars and such? I don't think there's street.
not bothered really  its still Gran Turismo.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was pushed further back to mid 2018. So I hope your seat is comfy.
I'm looking to get other games too like Need For Speed at some point 👍

But who in their right mind would pass up a PS4 with brand new contoller and HDMI cable for £100/$121....
