I am having big problems with my fto '97 when accelarating. Every time the rev counter gets high in first and second gears the car makes a skidding sound, plus when turning corners the car makes that sound again. Im not sure what the problem is so can anyine have a look or help thanks.

Its probably peeling out. How much power and what kinda tires are you using?

its got about 302hp at the moment. Its my first car so i really need it to perform well to get moe money. I have bought turbo level 3. But not enhanced my engine to level 3 yet. Im using standard medium tyres. its also on weight reduction 2 as well. ive tried tuning it but im having no luck. I dont know what im doing. Its really annoying me at the moment. If you could find out the problem for me i would be very grateful

I generally give my FWD cars soft suspension. It fits my driving style better than ridicuously stiff, and makes the understeer more mangable. My 91 Celica GT-R suspension is pretty loose. Spring rates 5.5 in the front and 3.5 in the rear. Shocks are at 4 in the front and 3 in the rear. Stabilizers both at 3. Camber both at 2. Might not work the best for an FTO, but all my other FWD cars run a similar setup and I think they drive pretty good.
