At this point can they just add tractors as well?
Maybe not tractors, but the Sardegna tracks surroundings are full of various variations of Piaggio Ape’s… Wouldn’t mind PD adding one of those with the option the change what’s in the back :) (open bed with/without rollcage and enclosed cargo box etc) and of course the engine swap option to put in a high powered motorcycle engine…

If only…

I never even heard of a Unimog until today. 🤷🏾‍♂️
They’re actually pretty cool, very utilitarian and slow like tractors, especially the older variants, the newer versions are obviously more modern and can keep up with modern traffic. It’s a interesting YouTube rabbit hole to get in :) But a vehicle like the Unimog (old or new) REALLY doesn’t belong in a game like Gran Turismo imho…

I personally think the truck is more like the Honda T360. The size on the picture is much smaller. Whatever it is, it definitely the new meme car in the future.

Yeah, yeah….Have had this argument on here before. I’m over 50 and have played every GT game since the first day it was release 25+ years ago. There are plenty of regular cars in the game but it’s lacking updated race cars and purpose tracks.

They either need to release GT8 which will hopefully have current day IMSA and the like cars or offer a monthly pay model to incentivize releasing new tracks and race cars for GT7.

Every Monday, for the last 2 years, a new set of 3 races are released. What are they? A GR4 race a GR3 race and a random race. Race cars. Not mom cars and crappy trucks from God knows where.
On console you have assetto corsa competizione.
On PC you have raceroom, iracing, automobilista 2, le mans ultimate, rfactor 2, forza motortsport, reinsport if you want gt3 .

For a second I was hoping we're getting Daihatsu Midget back...

But Unimog? Seriously? This thing won't even fit to these narrow dirt tracks in the game

Anyway, I'll gladly take the Peugeot 205 and BMW Z4, thank you :)

There were many tractor / farm equipment conversion kits for the Ford Model T back in the day. So technically this was already done in Gran Turismo 4?

I really hope it’s the 1.9 Gti……

Many moons ago I had a Mk1 Escort van with a 3.0L engine conversion, had a play with a 1.9 Gti and I could not shake it from my bumper, we pulled over and had a chat, turned out he had spent £1500 on a fully adjustable suspension.

That thing was glued to the road, hopefully we will get a daily A race around Tokyo in it soon 🤞

I remember in GTSport some racing around mount panorama in a truck, so something similar would be good because that was quite good fun and somewhere where short 3 laps would work, sometimes when I’m done with qualifying for the week, I’d enjoy a short race with random car, short track choice, between races

Just not Gr3 Spa 🤣

I feel like I’ve entered the twilight zone. How long did they say it takes to create cars and they’ve gone for a pickup and a BMW Z4. I thought we had a Z4 in the game? We’ve also got the 205 Gr. B in the game so are these just model tweaks?
The Z4 GT3 in game is based on the E89 generation model

The one we are getting is the E85 generation model

I'm waiting for the Ford GT90 to make it's return. It was on Gran Turismo 2. Maybe they'll eventually add the Ford Indigo too though that wasn't ever in any Gran Turismo game.
Last I checked, that GT90 is not in the greatest condition so they'll be lucky if they even can record the thing.
Also, I just want to note: Zero Japanese cars, zero cars that fit into existing model lines, a returning Premium car in the Z4 after multiple updates of the cars being new-to-series, and no 2010s/2020s cars after almost all of the recent updates having one.

This set of cars breaks basically every update trend that had been building over 2024. Which is why trying to predict PD at all is a foolhardy endeavour.
True...but still fun

I know what I'm hoping for:

Though I would mind this either

When was the last time we got a new Gr.4 or Gr.3 car, and a competitive one in Daily races?
I think it was the Gr.4 Mazda 3, September 2023.
The JGTC NSX is plenty competitive in Gr.3 - or at least it was prior to last month's update and BoP change, I haven't tried it since then. It's basically the BRZ in terms of being stupidly good on tyre wear but it trades downforce for straight line speed.

(Your point is not wrong in general, just pointing out the NSX got a way better BoP than you'd expect for an older car.)

What, what’s going on with the GT90, isn’t it in the hands for Ford?
That’s one of the greatest concept cars ever, they should take care!

So you had this argument before, but why then make the same untrue claims again and again?

Would you take the time and explain what cars of the, let’s say last 4 updates were mom cars?

See, if you are unsatisfied with the lack of race cars being added to the game, that is absolutely legit to me.
But why then exaggerate and talk this stuff about the cars being added that is just silly? There’s just no need for that.
If you played every GT Game since the first day, then I don’t know even what to tell you, you should know better than myself what is wrong with your comments.
Pretty simple. We need updated and more race cars and race tracks. Fake F1 cars, mommy grocery store running hatchbacks, and trucks from small corners of the earth are fine and dandy but people want race cars and actual purpose built race tracks. Silverstone, which is in the GT movie.

I don’t know what is over your head.

From what I remember reading, its been terribly neglected by its owner due to the lack of proper upkeep after all the starting up and revving (there's video where it struggles hard to get going).

Car is owned by a guy named Brent Hajek in Oklahoma.
