Well no one else started one so here goes, is it just me or is Fuji like driving in rain now. Seems like the grip level is down. Do you like or dislike the standing starts.

Well I invited to Fuji yesterday.. but I have seen only 3 GTPers there
I often drive Fuji, I like the track and I dont feel its more slippery then before the update. The feel (physics) have changed , Id say they have improved.

The standing starts are nice but would be better if they put the SLOW cars (less PP) to the end of the grid like IRL.

Ah I also hope there will be practice (Qualifying) sessions in the full GT5

Nice.

See you at Fuji. When I'm not in other events. :)

Too bad this isn't international.. they should all be.

Calling All Cars!
Fuji 800 rocks.
Watch out for us Kiwi boys from the deep south - if you see Tizzlaaa(NZ) take a picture cause he will not be stopping to say hello! lol
You guys from europe need to stay up late to catch us though.

Looking forward to see a few more GTP's on the track.
NZ out.

It appears that at 800PP, the cars are more twitchy. I noticed it on the Amuse and the Mine's. Makes it more fun to drive and less of a punter's fest IMO. :)

Thank you I'm so glad to finally here someone who should know finally say that all I've heard since update is how easy the cars are to drive now,the track seems much slicker to me really have to feather throttle off turns. It does make it more fun,but I never remember seeing so many of the best drivers I know spinning out.:nervous:

well, I'm rocking GT-R there, running equally with Ford GT LM's and Amuse S2K Turbos.. :D

Thanks to Venus2008 for fantastic racing always very fast & clean a great racer.

Just finished a race with Venus2008,Strong66 wow FAST. Strong66 won did race in a blistering time of 7.578 WOW you do the math for lap times. Would be good to see more GTP guys though.

Grr, just set up to give ButtonJ a bit of a battle and some spanish punter starts a bash-cult-off-the-track conga and knocks me down to like 8th.

Not a happy bunny.

Edit: next race made up for it - awesome racing ButtonJ! Hope I didn't hit you when I finally made the move stick, didn't feel anything come through the FFB so I carried on...

I can personally say that now I think I am a good driver why...?? Well since this new update, it's very hard now to keep the car on the track, you need to have patience, learn the car again, everything that makes us a better driver is here now with this update. Tires play a big roll this time around with the new physics. Finally they handle and work like they should. PD great job...now we can truly see and witness a real good driver online since the rubberband is gone! : P

I dont know what they did exactly but im happy... it feels great... Fuji 800 rocks!! :)

Ahh Vdub.. I seen you couple times on the track unexpected. Some nice races & sorry for the bumps I may have given you in the first corner. The Viper handles well there in my opinion. It's a well balanced car. Also the Amuse S2k is a nice one too.

And yet again the GTLM is miles ahead from every other car in an event. I had a 3.3 second lead and drove pretty well and was caught up easily in 1 and a half laps by an LM (who cut the chicane behind me once to catch up). Then drove dirty for the rest of the race ahead of me even though my Viper couldn't keep up even with slipstream. Another event killed by the GTLM 👍

That's what you get for taking a knife to a gun fight.

That reminds me, I saw some guy yesterday trying to cut on the 2nd turn. He still didn't win & I got first :) I'm gripping now by the way.

Yes it's not a very big suprise.. :yuck:
Quess this one needs a No GTLM event aswell.

Well Well was just in a race with 15 cars guess how many GTLM were in the grid 8, had the only S2000 IN race finished 4th what a wreck feast.

 Yea, you know me, it's just irritating to try so hard and be beaten so easily by cars which are meant to be equal (the whole point of PP restriction).

As for RBE it's present big time when you get upfront. I've only had 5-6 races and I've ended up way out in front on the end of lap 1 in each race and won all but 1 (beaten by the only semi-well driven LM I met), some other cars were quick but luck was with me. My lap times were 4-5 seconds slower then free run :scared: so pulling ahead was a real hard task and againt decent competition it was often matching lap times for second and myself even when second was mid-battle with other drivers.

Yeah theres no doubt that RBE is still there. Been 10 to 15 sec behind b4 cause of some jerk or because of my own lack of skills, then found myself running laps as low as 1.31 come on if you seen me race you know how funny that is.:dunce:

The RBE effect is so inappropiate in a game thats called "Real Driving Simulator".
They include cars which look so real and perfect and on the other hand they implement a feature thats appropiate for games like "Mario Kart" or "Need for Speed".

I dont understand why in the world PD wants to satisfy little children so that they believe they can keep up with the serious Simmers ?

For me its not the only disadvantage that it is in fact unreal, it has also the disadvantage that I cannot judge anymore if the following car is really closing up by pushin hard or just because hes got the "Effect"..

That only applies when I am in the lead of course so I can see the gap (timing) - but that is the case very often...

I was racing some of the GTLM boys last night - spkt & Thanos. your right those things are fast. I don't think that it "kills" the event cause I get tired of no competition - a dog aways likes to chase something!

We were getting 8.00min race times.

The time slot for this event is 00,15,30,45 but the races are long from 8 to 9 minutes,we have to wait more then 5 min for next race and that is quite a lot if you dont have a bunch of time avaliable.Maybe some of the premium members could change that to 00,12,24,36,48.

Add to that another 2 minutes for player matching, another 30 seconds when the race ends, and some more for adding credits, loading, returning to the menu, etc. etc. and you will find that 12 minutes is too short. If any one of those things takes slightly longer (and that happens quite often) you'll find you have to wait yet another twelve minutes. And no time whatsoever to get a drink, take a pee, etc. etc. You can try ofcourse, but I think you will find yourself waiting more instead of less. ;)

Well if this event was popular as Suzuka 750 expert before the update where player matching lasted max 30 sec then maybe it could be possible, but i doubt that is going to happen,so yes it's probablly to short:indiff:
