Sorry, I fail to see the humor here. It is a book with information in it that almost everybody that plays GT5 knows already. I'm not laughing. The part that does amuse me tho is the fact that you find it funny.:odd:

The books says... How to get 20.000.000 credits and reach 40 level in just a few hours

Now it takes around 500 hours of hardcore racing to get to 40 thats the funny part... 👎

Are you for real ??? what seasonals get you that ??? did you mean glitchs ??? hmm yes and even then it will still take weeks not hours
The A spec challnege race No.2 I think. 110,000 xp from 1st. I got from level 35 to 40 in a couple of hours.

The latest B spec seasonals can get you 1 million a race.
He is talking about A-Spec I think

The opening sentence in the book

Go to the Playstation Store and purchase the DLC Car Pack.

Which will cost you more money then the book.

EDIT: I dont own the book im just guessing lol

This made my day! Thank you for posting. But I don't think it's worth buying the book though.

Please use a more descriptive thread title when creating new topics here, thanks. 👍 I'll edit it now.

Ok I just have to say it.

I can't be the only one that gets all :dopey: every time I see Jordan post on a thread.

Don't worry, I get happy when Jordan posts on a thread too  . Keep posting Jordan 👍 !

I played every day since release (Seriously) and have just hit level 40 last week!!!

That's because there were no seasonals (which have no level restrictions) when the game first came out.

It doesn't matter to me personally - the fun is the journey getting to 40.

No, it can take about 7-8 hours if you grind the seasonals dry

True that.

You need 34,634,713 XP to go from level 0 to 40. Using the GT5 Matrix, the Online A-spec Challenge #3 650PP race earns about 20,545 XP/minute (133,200 total) which is the highest of the currently available seasonal races. It would require about 1686 minutes which is 28.1 hours to reach level 40. Since you would have to do the race 260 times, you need to add about 2.5 hours for the race just to recycle each time.

You need 24,555,943 XP to go from level 35 to 40. Based on the previous information, it would take about 19.9 hours. You would need to add about 1.5 hours for the race to recycle.

All of the XP amounts earned are based on the 200% bonus.

That seems a lot more realistic, glad someone was here to do the maths! I've had the game since release, have golded almost every offline event and all of the seasonals, and completed many events several times, and just made level 40 a few days ago. As an aside, I find the best events for boosting your XP are the longer endurance races. Slow process but watch that bar fill up afterwards =)

EDIT: These kinda "publications" are way more bogus.
