as a side note to that pic "you might be a redneck if you have ever painted your steer instead of branding it"

Finally, something appropriate for a Pontiac ! ! ! ! !

(or any GM car, for that matter.)

Yep. Love bugs are out. Happens May and September throughout the southeast US.

They splat often enough on the windshield that it sound like it's raining!

They also have a funny little way of eating your paint. Definitely keeping a water bottle and towel with me at all times, I have enough rust already.

And they were supposed to be helpful *major facepalm*

Well it could have been worse if he was driving a convertible, or a motorcycle at moment. :P
To tell you the truth, I thought it was mud at first glance! :dopey:

 it is hillarious to see the sport bikers with the streamline everthing... covered in bugs. something more or less interesting is after just coming through a horrible rain storm in the mountains, watching bikers go past you the other way.

what? he didn't have one... for that matter they don't make them for Cherokee. it's like driving a brick.
I'm fairly sure that they do make a hood protector for a Cherokee. Never mind the fact that it's a Wrangler, though.

They make bug shields for just about every truck and SUV, and yes they do make them for the Cherokee as my buddy had one on his when he owned it.

No duh, I was talking to wfooshee since he's from down there. And since you don't seem to know much about Jeeps, it is in fact a Wrangler (also pointed out by TB).

Yeah, once the bug density becomes a breathable mist, nothing much is gonna keep them off your car, or your windshield.

As for motorcyclists, I ride just about everywhere these days. I rode from Panama City to Tallahassee last weekend, and had to scrape bugs off my riding gear and my helmet, gloves and boots, as well as the bike itself.

the names were reversed inside my head. but they don't make wrangler hood protects do they?

Bra's are supposed to protect the front end from rock chips and bug splats. Anywho, back to the funnies.
