There was absolutely nothing even remotely funny about the pic. People who were expecting to spend another dreary day at the grindstone (including the person not Photoshopped in the second frame after choosing crushing over burning) had their existence erased by ignorant savages who think the people who gave you the right to express your opinion, and the technology to do so worldwide, are actually troopers for Satan and must be wiped out forever. They are the Islamic equivalent to the Ku Klux Klan, with the same self-centered failure to grasp the actual realities of the world around them along with the beauty of human diversity, and instead take the stand that the only way to make the world agreeable is to remove everyone "not them." People died, through no action of their own, serving no higher purpose, murdered by fanatics who put themselves in a state of delusional godhood by planning and carrying out their atrocities.
Nobody posts funny caption pictures from photography's early days in the Civil War, stacks of bodies on the fields around places like Gettysburg, or pictures of the dust of bones from the ovens of eastern Germany, or a trainload of bodies lying on its side in the mud in Sri Lanka after the ocean came up in wave after wave and swept it away.
Don't you EVER tell me to get over it you [insert imaginiative string of terms here], you don't have the [explitive] right!!!!

The irony of this all is that by removing it, because it is "un-American" to make light of, we are in fact being "un-American."
