I don't know who this Bear bloke is, or Stroud, but this is a great article I read earlier this year in a magazine called Outside. Great writeup of someone who stranded himself on a deserted island with nothing but a knife, a diving mask and the clothes on his back for no reason other than to see how long he could last.

I laughed when I read this. But then I realized the paradox inherent in posting this. I mean, you're in before someone called repost, sure, but you kinda just called repost yourself. I mean, you can't exactly post before you do...

And then I realized a further paradox of the situation. Once you say "in b4 repost" because of the fact that you basically called repost, nobody else is going to. So you've effectively prevented the post that you're claiming to be in before from happening.

Quite a dilemma. But regardless, a truly well played bit of irony.

Edit: I would be even more impressed if you could have posted something innocent, waited for someone to call repost, and then edit your prior post to say "in b4 repost".
