No. Your degree means crap compared to what the desires of the person who owns this forum are. Jordan could say no nudity because he finds it icky and girls have cooties, and as far as I am concerned it is good enough, because he owns it. Until your medical degree can take Jordan's ownership of this site away from him you cannot be a better judge of the appropriateness of any rules on this site.
"Jordan could say no nudity because he finds it icky and girls have cooties, and as far as I am concerned it is good enough, because he owns it." YES, no doubt about it. The rest of the quote though indicates that you didn't ( want to ) understand my post. This picture is not harming anybody. Not even 7 year old boys and girls in any way.
Young children won't see a sexual aspect, they'll see Hulk. Those who see an sexual aspect are free to do so, since they are obviously old enough. No matter how you put it, at the end of the day it is mild nudity with very little sexual reference ( obviously depends on your cultural background to a certain degree ).
Of course there are other reasons not to like that pic and I totally accept those, as I already pointed out.
Did you ever consider that Jordan doesn't want to risk losing potential members because their parents may find something offensive,
Not really, but of course it is a valuable point.
or that in some cases (didn't see your pic so I can't say) if something falls within a pornographic realm it could create legal trouble for him?
Definitively not. I think I can describe it without violating the AUP. It was a toy Hulk with his arms raised positioned under ( quite big, probably fake) breasts of a woman, who was leaned forward. So Hulk was holding them. I blacked out the nipples ( I obviously forgot a few pixels and Duke found them
) and that's it. Hulk's expression on his face was adding to the funny. But hey - no loss for this forum, it certainly wasn't the funniest pic in the world, but it made me and a lot of people I know laugh so by its very nature it fitted right in here.
But at the end of the day this is a site mainly targeted toward fans of Gran Turismo, a game rated T for Teen by the ESRB and whatever the equivalent is with the European ratings boards, so the goal should likely be to attempt to not do anything that would possibly create an environment more mature than that.
That's a point, although GTplanet is so much more as we all know. Discussions about politics, religion and economy on this forum are also far above Teen level but I agree - some parents might find it offensive, which is reason enough not to show it.
Not to mention that we try to keep the general tone of the forum at a level just a little above closeups of boobies with the nipples incompletely edited out. Or mass murder jokes, for that matter.
I can live with that, it's your right. End of discussion from my side. But i bet, at least on first impression, it made you smile aswell
