Yup 18 and 26, they are probably younger than all the cabin crew!
There's plenty of youngsters in the regional airlines in America, too. The first officers (co-pilot) on most of those might make $19-25K to start.
I try not to think of those things for too long, and I just hope they love what they do, because it's unofficially against company policy to drink on a Monday morning.
