I've yet to finish my LEC 5 entry.
I've yet to start my LEC 6 entry.
I wouldn't worry about me starting one ahead of time, I can't even start them on-time!

Best plan of attack is to follow @Nuschel01, take note of each new livery he creates, and log them for a "Future LEC Themes" leak thread where we can speculate and discuss future potential themes and start working furiously on new liveries to conquer any possible eventuality of the LEC.

Drop it into the theme suggestion form. Sounds like one that could be fun! I think we did a monochrome comp in GT Sport days too.

After nearly 40 competitions @Nuschel01 has stepped back from hosting the LEC, I've rounded out the open themes and polls and the last one is now live, but if there are to be any further Livery Editor Competitions, somebody else will need to step forward.

After nearly 40 competitions @Nuschel01 has stepped back from hosting the LEC, I've rounded out the open themes and polls and the last one is now live, but if there are to be any further Livery Editor Competitions, somebody else will need to step forward.

I'll do it.

Somebody will need to tidy up my posts after I start the thread, like the Christmas one.
That's better than just letting the LEC die off.

@ringkurier won 39 so I've messaged him about a theme.

I'll also need a crash course in polls etc.

I was going to make a sad comment lamenting the loss of the LEC, as I have thoroughly enjoyed participating. I am pleased it will be here still when I have the time to enter. Thank you!

Hopefully we can figure out how to get people back into entering the LEC.
My guess is that a lot of people now post their liveries to Discord and Instagram.

The GT7 Livery Editor Competition #41 (Tour de Force)

Tour de Force THIS MONTH'S THEME I discussed options with @ringkurier as he had won LEC 39. Given the intro of the Toyota it seemed it would be a good idea to run a Gr1 and Gr2 special at Le Mans. Get working on the new Toyota or any other Gr1 or Gr2 machine. Take your favourite racing livery...

Does anyone have any comments or suggestions on the LEC (Livery Editor Competition), and are there any volunteers who have the time to run it?

I very much enjoy the LECs and it would be a real pity, if we could not keep it alive and healthy.

Unfortunately I'm not sure if I am a reliable volunteer for this, as I would not have all the time this honorable job deserves.

I really hope someone will step up to continue the legacy!

I really enjoyed participating in my first LEC, unfortunately being a lorry driver doesn't give me much free time

I'll be putting up a new competition shortly. Some notes for peoples consideration:

• Of the last two competitions, Syntax and I tied in one, and he won the next, in his absence I'll select a theme to get things kicked off again.
  
  
• No big changes, but I'm going to take it back to the more frequent cycle, as I think it helps keep momentum. Competitions will still last 4 weeks to give people plenty of time, but there'll be a second competition staggered by 3 weeks. Voting will be for the week following the competition, and then there'll be week to prep the next competition and take care of any tiebreakers necessary.
  
  
• Winners will get to nominate a theme from a random selection sent to them by me, these will be taken from the open suggestions list. If a winner wants to nominate a theme specific to an event that's taking place at the time of the competition, this will also be accepted - basically if you want to nominate a theme based on Le Mans, the N24, Spa 24 etc. you can.
  
  
• Once I've reviewed the theme suggestions system I'll repost the link here so people can submit their ideas.
  
  
• IMHO, part of keeping this going, is keeping it easy to administer. I'll be ditching the need for customer header images for the thread as this has often been a cause of stress, and also, if entry images aren't properly formatted they'll be ignored, I'll try and point these out during the competition, but if they're not right when the poll needs to go up, they won't be included.

I hope this is all agreeable.
