Electronics are become more expensive again. Especially the stuff that comes from Japan.

£280 thats well over double what I payed! That is just outrageous.

A tad off topic but while I was on vacation in Texas, I was at Sam's club and they had two of the Logitech Driving Force GT wheels miss marked at $44.96 USD! I thought about buying them both since they were such a great deal but I passed on them. The Wife said that one DFGT and a G25 was enough already!

Why didn't you buy and sell them on?!

If you paid 200,- pounds, simply return it. Then look for a proper webshop; over here in The Netherlands you can get a new one sent to your doorstep for around 125,- pounds.

911 wheel > G25 > DFGT > other wheels > any controller.
....

im sorry but ill disagree with u ,
G25>DFGT>911>others...
for me 911 is rubish .
the steering itself is VERY GOOD , but good things stop there ,
the shifter ?! rubish
shifter mounting point ?! rubish
peddals ?! rubish
compare that with DFGT and compare the prices...
im not comperingit with the G25 'cause its way better. at least for me.

I have to say chaps, I've been playing games since defender came out and I've loved all the GT games. I got GT5P and tried the ps3 controller and it just wsn't working so I forked for the G25 and I have never had so much fun on a racing game. I find the FFB to be incredible, the feel is just amazing. I have everything set to professional with no driver aids and imho it's the best racing sim ever created, and that's all down to the G25.

Btw, I've found that using the shifter + clutch is the only way to get really fast shifts on purely manual cars in that game.

cheers chaps, great forum.
