G27 ---- How big is the deadzone issue

This is G27 "FFB" dead zone with the Logitech Profiler. The wheel itself has no input dead zone.

This seem to be removed in GT5. (as well in past GT series) The down side of removing this dead zone is it's a little harder to keep the wheel centered. Logitech put this dead zone in their PC driver for this reason.

I decided to go ahead and order the G27. Thanks for all the information and posts. It was very helful in understanding the potential G27 issues.

I was going back and forth between the G27 or Fanatec GTR+CSP. My conclusion was that the Fanatec has more features, is more sofisticated in its FFB delivery and would probably be the right choice if driving mostly street cars. The G27 is more raw in its FFB delivery, simpler design, and perhaps more reliable. Maybe the better racecar wheel.

I'm sure both wheels would be excellent, but nothing is ever perfect. In the end the G27 was just a bit more appealing to me.

I must plug the Red MOMO for Golding the X2010 Challenge,
because the G27 can't turn quickly enough under this extremely hi-speed.
After complete the Challenge ,I put it back in the box.
But G27 still can handle the F1 /FGT event. absolutely can't do my fastest lap time,
luckly I'm not much interesting in F1 / F-2010.
I get more fun in 60's-80's japanese car.
This is my lucky or I will hate PD forever for GT5 not fully support G27...
