Game save gone

I haven't had much time to play for the past couple weeks. Tonight I had a moment and wanted to take a run in a few of the legends cars that I previously downloaded. But for some reason, my profile/save has been reset. I Looked in the XMB to see if there was an older game save, but instead it just shows today's game save. The last fame data info I have is from 3/29. But i definitely played within the last month.

Any ideas, anyone else having an issue like this?

Have not come across this. Are you logged into PSN/PS3 with the right account profile?

I have many hours into S2U myself and have not had this problem. Have not heard of anyone else having this issue either.

Even though it hasn't happened to me, there are quite a few people accross all the platforms that have reported this on the EA forum. Some have even reported multiple save game losses. I am unaware of a work around like there was for the same issue in Shift 1.

What a bummer. The only thing I think I would miss is the hours I put into tuning, and liveries. Actually getting the money and cars back wouldnt take very long.

Still blows, dont get me wrong. Hmmm...need to make a backup just in case.

Yeah checked to make sure I was signed in and using the right account.

Losing my liveries and tunes is what I'm frustrated about.

I highly recommend making a back up of your game save ASAP. I'm pretty sure my game save is unrecoverable. Bust...

Well, you get to start from a clean slate. Try different cars, and beat old times, etc. Just trying to make you feel better.

When I accidently erased my game thought ah no big deal. When it came time to start tunning cars is when it set in how much I lost. I still dont have my vette running as good as I did before I erased it. Other than the car setups it wasnt bad starting over. Although winning the vette back was a choir not sure how I did it before the steering patch LOL.

OMG this just happen too me last night! I went too play shift 2 and my whole career is GONE!! I can't believe it, the weird part is it still says 48 completion percentage but as soon as I go too career I have too start over from scratch. This sucks I just got my fanatec shifters so I was loving it now I don't know weather I want too start over or play forza 3 which I lost my whole career with that after my harddrive corrupted or whatever a while back.

That sucks... I guess we all need to be sure we backup. I myself have just restarted the S2U career from scratch under my new PS3 profile and to tell you the truth I am having just as much fun starting with the D class again as the first time around. I am now trying new cars that I didn't bother with the first time around. If you enjoy racing, and not focused on rewards, racing is racing. My $.01

Restarting the game was no problem. Retunning from scratch was a little frustrating though. Winning back the vette sucked also and cant get it handling like I had it.

Ditto!

👍

But I agree that loosing save must be a major hassle anyway.

I worked my ass off in this game and it's gone. All my cars are still there my career still says 48% but career is GONE. I am pissed I was just raving how bad ass this game is even with all the hassles like having too press pause every race in order too have ffb, the cars are like magnets when they get close and if you touch a little sand it sucks you in even with all those flaws I felt the racing experience is amazing. I dont know if I can start over forza just seems a little boring after playing shift, I have this 400$ wheel that kicks ass so I may have too start over.👎:guilty:

Can I assume you are on the Xbox? I wonder if this is an Xbox only issue... any PS3 users having the problem of losing career?

Haven't had the game save issues, but I have lost many liveries which pisses me off. Some of those took a few hours with the waaaaay over sensitive controls to place decals and vinyls.
