Shift 2's idea of cockpit view was very interesting in many ways, in my opinion and a differet apporach in general... Since you can't convey everything that's going on inside the car with photorealistic representation, they opted to translate everything into visual effects. I liked that - for a change. It's like some sort of refreshing modern art. It's cool that it's there and I like it, but I don't want it to become the norm.

That said, after having played GT5 and, moreso, Shift 2, Forza 3 seems very bland in that regard... Of course, graphically, FM3 is also the least impressive of the three (not counting standard cars, obviously), but I think FM4 did a good job so far. Seems more visceral and 'alive' than GT5 on first glance, but not as artistically exeggerated as Shift 2. I'll hae to experience it for a while to give final judgment about it, but sofar, it seems like a big improvement.

Like I've said before, cockpitview seems to be a very subject view as you've also pointed out some like things as others dont'.

The whole GT5 is stale, can't be compared to FM3. As I've said before some people complain that GT5 is too shaky. FM3 is obsolete.

Actually the shaking is just done...wrong in GT5. Its an up and down motion with no ryme or reason for it. But dont worry because over 1/2 the cars dont have a cockpit anyway, so you dont see it much.

You're absolutely right. I mean besides that time when you said it is a fact that GT5 has the best physics on any sim. Then attempted to tell me that it is a fact not an opinion because:

It's not an opinion because we can calculate physics(feeling wise and number wise) of any game to real life. Therefore, we can base the choice on fact as we have a concrete/REAL life subject to compare all games physics too.

Do not expect another response.

I believe you're smart enough to know what gets attacked here and what doesn't. ALL of us have criticized FM3 for one issue or another. Then there's people who are coming here just to flame and you know the difference. If you want to debate things there is a thread here just for that. If you want to point out a shortcoming it's all about how it's worded.

Dude you come with "ignorant statement" and then turn around and say it's "not mean". Let's live in the real world for a minute. If you're smart enough to know that the word "ignorant" is not necessarily mean then you are MORE than smart enough there are a ton of other words to get the SAME point across which wont ignite any tempers or feelings in the reader. Of course you already know this and we all know it's just a weak way to try to throw an underhanded insult without actually doing it.

Now I could say it's a common trick played by those with moderate intelligence who think themselves intellectually superior to the majority, while true it would be mean. So I guess I'm being mean.
