Really indecisive on this. Anniversary edition exclusive to Gamestop comes with a ton of cars but PSN digital offers quicker loading, 5 cars as a bonus for preordering and an additional 10 dollars back through the Sony program running until Dec 3rd. Which would you buy?

What program?

New thread asking the same thing OR posting in an existing thread and still getting the same answer, really can't decide.

Oh and where's the poll? [/Sarcasm]

I think you should get the GT6 Double Post Anniversary Edition, quickly though as the mods will be on it like a car bonnet ;)

I wish you could order the anniversary via PSN and get the benefits of both but alas, NA does not seem to have it on offer. EU store does though I believe.

I have three copies of the Game Stop 15th anniversary edition pre-ordered and paid for. I looked last night and could not find GT6 on the US PSN store.

but PSN digital offers quicker loading

Not sure where anyone said so far that it loads faster on the HDD rather than disc. I remeber when the option to download some of the larger files on GT5 first came out, and I think it actually made it a lot slower. Rather than wait for the full game to load and then me drive, It's as if they half-:censored:ed it and was quite frustrating

The digital version would definitely load faster if you have an SSD.
I have a fairly fast one on my PS3 and on GT5 the only times I get loading pauses are when the game tries to read from the BD-drive. Very annoying.

With the built-in hard disk drive the BD version might be better, though.

soap_hand, I believe you can order the digital version from the hongkong PSN and it says it will included 15th anniversary upgrade as a bonus.

read this page:
http://asia.playstation.com/hk/en/newsdetail?id=1441

Part way down on that page is says this:

■ PSN Early Purchase Offer (December 5th – 25th 2013)

- Free upgrade to Gran Turismo®6 15th Anniversary Edition

- Three of DLC cars

・Tesla Motors Model S Signature Performance 15th Anniversary Edition

・Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C7) 15th Anniversary Edition

・SRT Viper GTS 15th Anniversary Edition

Also, I haven't seen anything saying we will have a PSN digital download version available in the US store

On one hand, you can drive to your local GameStop (how far that may be, for me, 20 miles) and pick it up there, unless you selected the option for it to be shipped to your house. In which case, you have to wait until about the next Wednesday until you get it (ANSWER MY GODDAMN E-MAIL GAMESTOP!!).

On the other, you can expend possibly more than 10GB of your internet data and wait at least 2.5 hours for it to download, but from the comfort of your own home.

I chose the former.

Yeah, 'cause that day one update is going to take about that long anyway. And once is enough. I wanna play GT6 NOW! I get to pick mine up on the way from from school on Friday. Way to kick off winter break with GT6 :P

Can someone please confirm if the version you get from GameStop is actually the anniversary version? Everything on their GT6 page shows that the disk is the anniversary edition but I have a friend who says he can't get an anniversary edition anywhere. He says he actually talked to GameStop. Please advise as I also just pre-ordered from GameStop.

Edit: Are the disks the same with both versions? Are the only differences the BluRay case and the anniversary code?

All that differs between the two in your region is the front cover and the DLC codes.

I have one on order at Gamestop, it said that the DLC codes for the anniversary edition upgrade are printed on the receipt you get when you pick up the game.

Check out the bottom of this page for the details:

Never pre-order from GameStop, but that would be an odd place to put the download code. Anyone seen this? So, you could purchase/return the Anni Edition and keep the code... (not that I'm condoning that kind of behavior)

Just a quick update on my previous post, just picked up my pre-order disk from gamestop and they actually gave me the 15th anniversary edition disk, rather just a code for the cars.👍
