Did anyone pre order with GameStop in the UK?

I did and I didn't get any codes in the box for the precision or torque pack? Or the 1 million credits or the promised 90 day PSN+ pass?

Unsure whether it will get emailed or if I'm missing it?

Cheers

I forgot all about the precision pack that I was promised from Games Centre in Kilmarnock Scotland for my pre-order.

I was also wondering how we should get these codes from stores? Have they along with me forgotten? It's usually a inner leaflet with a code isn't it?

They were closed by the time I remembered, so I'll phone tomorrow.

Yes, I pre ordered from GameStop UK too, but have not received any of the codes.

I have emailed them a few hours ago about it but have not had a reply yet. :irked:

Same here, got no codes or anything from Gamestop. E-mailed as well but looks like i'll have to wait til monday. Although, i did notice on my order history when i go on to the gt6 one, it says split shipment - maybe sent codes separately? Would be odd and a longshot but possible

Lucky you for receiving the game itself... I pre-ordered with Gamestop UK on 21st August for the Anniversary Edition and mine hasn't even arrived yet. Got an email yesterday saying it had been dispatched but only after I raised a query with them by their contact email. I hope they are shipping the codes out with it as well. Slightly anxious about this now...

I pre-ordered the Standard Edition in GameStop in Dublin, but the guys I talked to didn't seem to be quite sure about the free DLC situation, and told me that that the DLC only came with the special edition. However the GameStop website (in Ireland) says that the Standard Edition comes with the following DLC codes:
Precision Pack
Torgue Pack
1 million in-game credits
3 months PSP membership
- which is a pretty good deal I think.

So I printed this information off and went back and presented it to the staff and they were genuinely surprised. But they were quite happy to honour it and printed off the four codes from their computer for me.

The impression I got was that the senior management people who came up with this offer didn't bother telling their sales staff about it, which is a bit odd.

So I would advise anybody who didn't get the DLC, or who plan to buy GT6, to go to the GameStop shop and ensure you get what you were been promised. I think consumer rights laws are on your side.

Well, if I do not receive a reply to my email on Monday with the inclusion of my codes I will be claiming my money back from them.

I ordered from game but what I got was a an email on release day for the Precision pack for pre ordering.

Then inside the anniversary edition box there was a little leaflet that gives you:

1 Million credits
20 Anniversary cars
custom paint chips, race suit, helmets and avatars

Guys, I was under the impression that Game was the only retailer offering the precision pack as a pre order bonus...

No - Gamestop do as well. See my post above. Talking Ireland/UK here btw

I am wondering if they have lied to us just for pre order sales, as it seems that a lot of people from this forum who pre ordered the standard edition from them have not received any bonus codes.

If you pre-ordered from a shop, just print out the above information from the link provided by nowcontrol, present it to the staff, and they should print out your bonus codes - if you live in the UK. Irish customers go to Irish website for similar offer.

If you pre-ordered online, just include this info with any email you send.

I live in East London, I have no idea where their nearest shop to me is [or if there even is one close enough for it to be worth the effort of traveling to].

The whole reason I pre ordered it online from them is to get the bonuses and so that I would not have to go out and shop for it.

do shops accept returns for online orders?
the problem is that they don't answer the phone on their UK/IE numbers and haven't answered my email just yet.........

horrible customer support

I pre odered from amazon uk, so should be the same gameversion like gamestops. Got all three codes (2 carpacks and 1 mill credits) via email on releaseday.

Maybe check your spam folders.

Guys this is a bit out off topic but the same problem I have, I have ordered GT6 anniversary edition on 28th November from GAME, I still haven't received any confirmation that my product was dispatched. Anyone has these problem with GAME?

Any news on this?
Still no codes and the more disgusting thing, no response to my e-mails or phone calls :(
Gonna take it further and put in a formal complaint...

I too pre ordered the anniversary edition from Game, albeit on 5th Dec. I haven't received no email for the precision pack and after web chatting to their customer support, they said they were not part of that promotion.

Catlin, can you confirm that you got an email with the DLC code and you actually have the precision pack set of cars in the game?

This sounds like it's getting a little silly with all of the game outlets fluffing up.

I preordered the Anniversary Edition (free delivery) from Game UK on 27th October. I got an email on 3rd December saying they had taken payment and one the following day that they were processing the order… both from customerservices@game.co.uk

I got a “Preorder Bonus Code” email on the 5th from customer.services@mailer1.game.co.uk with the Precision Pack code and the actual game was delivered untracked by my postman on Saturday 7th which had the Anniversary code included inside.

The patch was out already when I installed and both codes redeemed first time from within the game. I feel very lucky now as it seems they are incapable of dealing with any problems. It seems taking payment got the ball rolling for me so does anybody have an RBS/Natwest/Ulster Bank or expired card lodged with them? If there was an issue at the payment stage I would guess they would move onto the next order. Doesn’t explain the problem where payment has been taken though

Lucky you! sounds like you had a faultless experience.I got my pre order delivered a day after release day, payment was taken on the 5th...no sign of a follow on email in regards to the pre order code. I will be following this one up with them again.

I had a mail from Gamestop saying they would be sent out shortly via e-mail yesterday at abou 11.40 after i contacted them - nothing by this morning so mailed them again and the said they would be sent this afternoon. We shall see...

Still no reply to my email yet!

Going to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait another day or two before taking further action.
