This would come under "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." If you're not having any issues, I'd agree that the best thing is to leave it alone.Well I keep my computer fairly clean anyway so I don't really accumulate junk over time. I don't really have any errors or feel it's slowing down either. At the end of the day those registries sitting there isn't really causing any problems and cleaning them probably won't do much either. So I'll stick with what I'm doing now.
It's good info though and I'll consider it if I ever feel adventurous or need to give my HDD away
