It is actually 3.60 per gallon for magna (normal) fuel, 3.79 for premium fuel and 3.72 for Diesel, pretty even, I must say
Oh god I remember when the Premium fuel costed around 9 pesos per liter, around 2.60 dollars per gallon and I'm talking about 2004-2007
$3.56-something here. It's actually cheaper in New Jersey by about... 5-8 cents, depending on location.
I feel sorry for the younger crowd today; you can't just go for a long drive for the hell of it anymore, unless you've got $40-50 lying around. I could fill my Accord's tank for under $10, and have enough for a snack and soda...(okay, I'll stop acting like Grandpa Simpson)
That 1 gallon cost an even 25 cents, the other 25 was for me to get as much candy as I wanted, and back then it was a lot, with much of it being a penny or nickel. All this was around 1970 or so. Have I dated myself enough yet Mr. Pupik?
I think the Americans have it OK - ......snip
I think the Americans have it OK - I dont have a car, so dont see prices often, but I think regular is around €1.60/L here, which is about US$2.20. If I use a rough 3.8L= 1 gallon --> US$8.36/gallon
I'm surprised how comparatively inexpensive gas is in New Jersey, even in a big city like Newark, or along the Turnpike rest stops. Considering you must have an attendant who must pump your gas, and that's someone getting a piece of the pie, it's not really a bad deal. It is annoying, however...unless the weather sucks.
