Gear numbers/settings change after update?

Has anything changed as far as acceleration rate?

With 1.07 I've tested and confirm steady pace acceleration all the way to red line with a slight (but steady) drop after red line. P

Okay, I'm not entirely coherent right now, because I had to be up at 10, so feel free to brush me off for whatever reason.
A: kh/h is correct, sorry I just default to mph when speaking in speeds, you know us damn arrogant Americans... But yea, I understood we were talking about km/h.

B: I guessknow I'm stubborn, but I don't believe the speeds are the same with or without draft, regardless of the limiter. But I could very well be wrong, so
I'll have to test it when this weekend's events are over.

That's only possible when the wind resistance causes slip (like in real), but I don't think that PD added this into the game physic.

So can we rule out rolling resistance ?
On another note it must be wind resistance as my optimum top speed for a r34 is 229 gears set to 272. But when I draft get 267 which to me after some testing confirms that wind resistance is the main factor and some how the physics are very realistic

Your spot on.

When I calculate the rolling resistance, I get the exact top speed. No variation.

PD is having a hard time it seems to figure out their own RR calculations, lol. I cracked them weeks ago.

This is also how I confirm steady acceleration, you would expect the RR to be icreasing as speed increases, but it stays steady and equal in gears 1-5 while 6th has a slightly higher rr then the first 5. It is steady to redline where there is a slight increase in resistance in each gear.

I've finally finished up the gear tuner calculator (been redone so many times due to trouble finding a way to use the car specs for optimum spacing.) Finally figured out a way to do it, just testing. Ill release a beta edition tonight.
