Not even close.I guess we can say this is the most bugged GTA released so far?
I agree, but I think it is more of any issue in the Fire Truck missions than the Vigilante missions.Vigilante time should be accumulative, they screwed that up in LCS and didn't have sense enough to fix it.
Agreed. I went through so many attempts at Vigilante missions (level 1-12 were cake. 13 was nearly the death of me) because they shortened the timer.Orion_SRBut then there's a 30 second limit to return to the vehicle, which is plenty of time to clear the targets, but completely useless for replacing a destroyed vehicle, - especially when the game has the nasty habit or not spawning any road vehicles. And you can't run with a wanted level to keep cop vehicles handy - the game spawns way too many cop cars for a 2 star wanted level.
I've noticed that too. Its a lot harder than it used to be to run from the cops because they seem to have infinite sprint ability. Rather annoying. I think they could sprint in San Andreas, but I'm pretty sure they had stamina just like the player did. I usually have to just blast them, or get in the passenger side of a car an gun it in reverse.Orion_SROh yeah... the VCS cops on foot are really quick. It's very difficult to get in/on a vehicle and get away without getting busted. I've taken to shooting them when I'm in a hurry, like during the vigilante 30 second limit. I don't like shooting cops, and try to avoid it. Partially because I don't want the stars, but mostly due to principle and policy. I like making GTA videos, but don't want to feed the fires by recording cop shootings if it can be avoided. Come on Rockstar - have the cops back off. Give me a way to work the bots and don't force me to shoot them.
I hate how they ruined the Blista Compact. What was a street race slayer (though a HUGE plus to them returning street races back to how they were in Vice City) is now an oversteery mess.Orion_SRThe cop bike handling sucks, the Streetfighter can't jump, and the boats are way too slow, but I like the Benson.
Not a clue. Sorry. I checked over at Gamefaqs, and the map they have is laughably inaccurate.Orion_SROn a lighter note - I swear I found a spaz on the east island when I hopped over to take a peek, but now I can't locate it. Anyone know where I can find it again?
The game seems to consistantly add up distance on combination jumps, even bounces on landing can add significant distance.I've also somehow managed a 182m jump according to my stats page. How'd I managed that?
I dunno about you, but I have hated all of the R3 missions that were not Vigilante or Taxiing since I first played them on GTA III. There are exceptions (Beach Patrol was a pleasant surprise), but that generally holds true with newer R3 missions as well (Pimping, for example. And Air Rescue). I haven't tried the Fire Helicopter yet, though.GTA_PhreakI agree with Orion_SR, - they somehow managed to turn the R3 missions into either something annoying (vigilante) and/or totally menial by adding more levels without new challenges (there's a new one which is even worse than paramedic).
I've noticed its quite fun with the Taxi. Not so much the Cabbie, but then again nothing ever is.The game seems to consistantly add up distance on combination jumps, even bounces on landing can add significant distance.
Nasty riptide they've got in Vice City Stories while waiting for the hurricane to hit.And if you want speed on water the check out the Jetski, make sure you have a dry towel nearby
Beach Patrol (not really a R3 mission btw.) would have been nice, - provided they combined the 3 missions and forced you to do 5 levels of each. Problem is you probably won't know of the others before you've completed all 15 repetitive levels on one.Toronado... There are exceptions (Beach Patrol was a pleasant surprise), but that generally holds true with newer R3 missions as well (Pimping, for example. And Air Rescue). I haven't tried the Fire Helicopter yet, though.
The jukeboxes were always expensive, it was the cost of used records that became prohibitively expensive. So instead of collecting old 45s I started combing the used bookstores for interesting Sci-Fi. Technology still can't replace books. I'd much rather read my fiction on paper. But I've strayed off topic. Uh...Just wondering what John Lennon had to do with the cost of jukeboxes ???
Not really, except there won't be as many Biker Angels available.Orion_SRIs there any reason to leave the bikers on the map?
Eh. Any mission that either influences your stats or is activeated via R3 counts as an R3 mission. I should have clarified.Beach Patrol (not really a R3 mission btw.)
I have taken over 29 of the sites and just got one Bikers left on the east island but there is no bike outside to destroy to start the mission. Do I have to wait until after some mission or is it some sort of bug or glitch?
I found some jumps and noticed that you now get a "multiplier" for height as well, - so it should be possible to do quadruples. .
I thought the Quadruple Insane Stunt was an old GTA urban myth! Although maybe it wasn't in previous games and was added to VCS?however... I did get a quadruple insane jump last saturday--
I thought this post was BS
I'm still stuck where I was, with the east island finally open, and no time to play.
