not sure really, maybe Boom has already asked some people and is waiting on their reply
I had a pm from dodge the viper orginally and he wanted me to set him a race which I did, all I heard back from him was that sorry he had been busy but would send me the time soon. Since then nothing, and I just checked out gt.com earlier and he wants in their team now

Cool looking logo!...help me out here with how this is going to run so I can get this clear in my head - does each board actually submit two races that are to be run and is that what the 'race idea's' thread is all about? Are we going to run some practise races before this thing starts? questions, questions..........

Hey mates!
I've still got a few PM's out there hangin around. Just sent one to Maclarens Main Man. He posted a pretty fast lap time in the SSR11 challenge. Gonna touch base with 93SHO again to see where he stands. He's pretty gungho about the whole thing last time I spoke with him.
As for Dodge the Viper, don't know about him. Last he told me was that his school schedule was quite hectic and his time that he could dedicate to the event was minimal. He's not an option as far as I'm concerned right now.
Mobil1 is another that I'm waiting to hear from as well. He's expressed interest in wanting to be on a team, well, what better team than this one huh! I'll drop him a line and see what he has to say, and then we can get some times from him to see if he truly measures up.

Got PM's out to Maclaren and Mobil1. I just got a PM from Axis Man! Remember him? Havent seen him in a bit. He was "kinda" in Zero's race series. Don't really remember what kind of times he was posting so I'm not sure about him as of yet. I'll keep him in the back of my mind. I'll send a challenge out his way. Get him to do the SSR11 challenge I suppose. BTW, where did all the heavy hitters come from in that challenge all of a sudden? Good to see them here though.

I say we start thinking of a quick hot lap test between us, as T suggested, racing line records are good idea to test your skill against , I had a look last night and quite fancy a weekend trip to Rome! takin the fully modded Denso with me and seeing how close I can get to Slowpoke in 1st with a 1'05.736 😈
2nd place is a 1'06.237 and 3rd 1'06.600 .

Oh I see, that site is cool im going to have to take a look through it. I studied classics at school and it was one of my favorite subjects (one of the only ones that I enjoyed). I wish I had studied it to a huger level though and as per usuall Ive forgotten most of it (roll and eyes).
