Generic tuning to stop wheel shake

I'm not sure if its the Logitech wheel but basically any car over 180mph i use has wheel shake, on the 200mph+ cars i am actually physically drained and i never do the Le Sarthe track because of it! :scared:

I really don't believe it's realistic, when you read car magazines who do max speed testing they never speak of this wheel shake. I'm talking literally the wheel is trying to break free from my hands..moving from side to side every second

So, is there something i can change on ALL cars that will stop/help this? (Or is it a faulty wheel?)

Cheers,

Does it happen on all cars or just ones with downforce. I was running my black 390 LM GT last night and noticed when I maxed out the downforce at high speeds the car/controller would shake like crazy. Reduced the downforce and it all but stopped.

Some vibration of your controller/wheel is normal.

I'm pretty sure you can lower the overall vibration of the wheel in options.

Yes, I think you can too, but if the wheel shake is a representative response to what the car's doing then it's probably a better idea to try to fix the car...

Yeah, its only on the medium setting, the problem is a lot of the cars are being not as fast so i wouldn't want to destroy the feel..

I will try the downforce thing and see what difference it makes.
