New update, means new Spiral Abyss rotation. Thankfully, the entire abyss changed, as the first two floors started getting too stale.
First thing I noticed was there was quite a bit better variety it felt like for each floor. Definitely made 9 and 10 a tiny bit more enjoyable.
Floor 11 changed up 11-1’s enemies while keeping the leyline defense mechanic. It’s IMO harder now because the first half enemies are more aggressive towards the leyline, though it still shouldn’t be too difficult to 3 star for the average player with built up teams. 11-3 introduces the Electro Regisvine in the second half, and this boss doesn’t have much to worry about, as it’s HP felt similar to the one in the overworld.
Floor 12 is definitely a lot harder than previous update’s, and honestly, the last few updates. How you finish the first half determines how hard the second half will be time-wise for those 36* players.
12-2 is an add control check, as the first half utilizes enemies that, combined, can spam Hyperbloom and electro-charged, with a hydro cage from the mirror maiden. Your HP will drain rapidly if you aren’t careful. My advice is to kill the electro Cochin mage as quickly as possible, as you can cope with getting hit by bloom reactions should it come to that. Second half is a Primal Geovishap with Pyro, and be aware as he has a tanky amount of HP.
12-3 is a DPS check. The first half utilizes those vishaps from the enkanomiya area, but they have a tanky amount of HP, and if you aren’t careful, you’ll get frozen and bubbled often. After that is a wave of the bigger mushroom enemies, but those die fairly quickly. The second half is a Terrorshroom, but this didn’t feel anywhere near as bad as the primal geovishap from last chamber. Just be mindful of the adds that spawn as it might mess with the game’s lock on mechanic.
Fun abyss though, and Collei for being C0 and not 90 still put in great work!
