As most of you'd know, you are gifted a rare paint chip for every 30 cars you collect in your garage (30, 60, 90, ...). Many of you may also have seen how you can choose to reject this paint chip if you like by quitting the game before pressing "OK" to that paint chip (video is here). However I was thinking about this today and there's actually a way to get five different rare paint chips every day.
Now once the screen comes up that you've been awarded your rare paint chip you need to quit the game (do not press OK) and backup your save data on a USB. You then are going to go back into GT5. Once that screen comes up and you're awarded a paint chip press OK (if you don't like the chip just quit the game and re-open GT5). Now you're going to gift this paint chip to another account you have. Once this is done simply quit GT5 and reload the save data from the USB. Open up GT5 and there you have it, your awarded another (different) paint chip. Simply repeat the process until you have sent the maximum gifts in one day. Now go to your other account and send back all of those paint chips to your primary account. There you go you have 5 rare paint chips
With this technique, it's possible that within 5 days you can have every matte or chrome paint chip in GT5 - and you don't need to trade online.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to use this technique, but I haven't read about this anywhere on the forums so I thought I'd just inform you guys of what I've discovered.
