Gillet Vertigo Streiff GTB 2000

The Gillet Vertigo GT2, more well known for its appearance in Gran Turismo 3 as the "Gillet Vertigo Race Car", was the second race prepped Vertigo since the car's introduction. Campaigned by Johan Van Vaerenbergh (Sometimes under his own name and sometimes under "Geets Benny" and powered by an 3 Liter Alfa Romeo 24 Valve V6, it was a car that was very competitive in the GTB category of the Castrol Belcar Championship. While it had no wins, it regularly gave the likes of Porsche and Lotus a hard time. Not only would Gillet actually have more then one car for the first time, but it would be a lovely return for the car that introduced many to Gillet Automobiles.
