Giulietta73's Gallery |Some more comp entries|

Great "star wars" set 👍 Imo your choice of final entry is the good one, it's my fav in the set, the closest to the theme 👍
Great entry also for the calendar comp' :)
Beautiful "sky" set. Your entry was my choice, I love its composition and its mood 👍
The edited ones are really superb, love the composition of the first with the tree on the left and the mixing colors in th sky. And in the second one we get back to a mood photo with a beautiful light :)
Great work again Eric
Thanks a lot Jérémy:tup: Appreciate your comments a lot!!:)
Like I've mentioned before, the edited rejects are beautiful paintings to me. The second especially, could just stare all day and get sucked into it.
Thanks Sean, that means a lot:tup: Shame I couldn't enter it in the SSC comp!!!
Loving the atmosphere in the second shot from your latest set. The colour transitions are extremely smooth (especially with regard to the sky!) and the overall look is very pleasing to the eye. :) 👍
Thanks a lot GT-R:tup:

previous McLaren pics are great, the last one needs some improvements. I know what you tried to make and let me tell you, composition for that kind of photo is amazing, it's just the editing that's not there yet. I'm sure you'll get it, don't give it up !

Giulietta73, the third F1 at Montegi shot is my favorite. It's a busy shot, lots to see, yet simple. I really like it.

I too, am working "in my head" a way to pull-off haze reflections. I would need to take a second shot at a closer and lower point-of-view than the camara since that is the point of reflection(scale image accordingly). Later, place the inverted "reflection" at a lower level than the main image. With the "eraser", reveal the lower reflection. The haze effect is another matter. Even with Photoshop, the standard distortion filters are not random enough, too symmetrical. I think I'd have to make a custom filter.

Very nice McLaren set Eric.
The third is superb, love the composition, and the toning : blue but not cold 👍
And the last one is also excellent, very cinematic 👍
Good start for your last attempt at haze. I can't say it is good, but For my part I wouldn't even know how to start so I'm impressed by the effort and the first results 👍

I know exactly what you mean. I did see a tutorial for heat haze in Photoshop, but the parameters of the same tools in GIMP weren't wide enough. There will be a way and I'm sure I'll kick myself when I find it
So many great shots since my last visit  Fantastic work, Giulietta !
Hey, I was about to say that! So +1 I guess. :)
Thanks Shaolin & Nathan:cheers:

Yes, very original and well executed set.
You've started a race with a Mazda and stayed on line after the start ?

Thanks Nicolas & Jérémy:tup:

I set a one make race, stuck on RS tires and made a quick getaway cutting all the chicanes. The I stop halfway down the the first stretch of the Mulsanne Straight and wait for the rest to pass. Stop too far down the straight and they fly by in single file, but stop early enough and you get the double fly-by:tup:

That's a great entry and one that'll be hard to beat. 👍 Original with very well thought out and executed shots - great job!

Thx for the tips, I'll try it :)

Great composition in all shots.
Applause !

Thanks Nathan, appreciate that:tup:
Great 787B set, you always seem to think outside the box, when it comes to composition.

Good luck in the comps.👍
Cheers Proby!!
Nice new style with the static vehicle not minding the fact it is losing the race.
 The things we do for our art!👍
Very, very original shots, Giulietta73. I'm really liking the high contrasts and unique compositions. 👍
Thanks Nenad;tup:
That's exactly what I wanted to say. Perfect work. 👍
Cheers Qnrad:tup:
First 787B shot is genial! Brilliant concept and perfectly executed. Great job there. 👍
Thanks a lot Taiga:tup::)

"Yellow Bird"

Yellowbird by Giulietta37, on Flickr

Sadly this little bird didn't take off with as much prowess as it should have done in the poll.:indiff: But it still makes me laugh when I look at it!!:D
